Franz Wagner hasn’t elevated his draft stock in the tournament so far. Playing like hot garbage tonight. Smith too.

Don’t touch Wagner anywhere inside the top-15

Bruh are y'all going to flip flop on prospects every good and bad game?

I hope he stays in school. He could use another year of seasoning.

Not me. I'm a huge Michigan fan and I never even claimed Wagner should go pro after this year. I'm operating under the assumption he will, but that's it.

Naw I'm with you, same here. Big fan but never saw top 10 pick from, but I watch very little college basketball so I defer to the ones that do.Manocad wrote:DetroitSho wrote:Bruh are y'all going to flip flop on prospects every good and bad game?

But over the past couple weeks every top 10 pick's stock has dropped in the eyes of those on this forum. Apparently nobody deserves to be drafted #1 this year. I'm surprised I didn't see posts about what's his nuts from UCLA being in consideration for a top 10 pick after scoring all those points.

Everybody's stock went down in the tournament...
Good thing gms don't judge players off one game.
Franz is what he is. A good role player. The type of guy who plays off of other star players or shot creators. He is what he is, and had a bad game.
Nobody's drafting Franz to be the next Dirk. Your drafting him to be the glue guy for your shot creators. Hes younger than most freshman. He'll be alright as he gets stronger

You need 2-way wings, 2-way shooting bigs, and you can't allow low iq players on the court. Assist/turnover ratio is crucial. Shooting point guards are icing on the cake IF they are plus defenders.

Is Suggs what we hope Killian will be?
Can they both play alongside each other in backcourt?

I know it’s early but I’ve lowered my expectations for killian. At this point I’m hoping he’ll be a solid 6th man/secondary ball handler

Yeah, I don't get the hype. I think scouts see a 7 footer who can handle the ball and guard multiple positions and see a unicorn that is a can't miss prospect but this guy is a secondary character on the offensive end.
Maybe it's just a matter of him being a better fit in a pro run system but he's so passive that I can't ever imagine him being a go to offensive option on a good NBA team. I get it, he does a lot of things well, but I don't see him as a master of anything outside of blocking shots. What does he do at a very high level on the offensive end? I don't see anything.

Re: 2020-2021 NBA Prospects/ NBA Draft
Mobley’s weaknesses:
Outside shot (beyond 15 feet)
Build (he’s skinny with a slight frame)
Killer instinct (does he have it or was he just trying to be a good teammate on big bros team?)

Admittedly I have not watched much college basketball yet Suggs looked extremely smooth in the USC game. Klay Thompson smooth.I am not saying he has his shot but the smoothness in that game was nice to watch.

Re: 2020-2021 NBA Prospects/ NBA Draft
Were projected 4th worst only one game ahead of the Magic, two ahead of the Cavs, and four ahead of the Wizard. They also project us finishing 4 games behind the 3rd place team. They take into account SOS and players on your team etc.
So no you arent wrong we likely finish between 4-6 in the standings. It seems we should of just took some bad contracts in free agency rather then useful players and just "rested" some players OKC style. Notice they project the Thunder to finish worst now.
Posted this in reply to someone in the game thread. So figuring we finish 4th like 538 projects that puts us at 48% to stay top 4 meaning we likely go down in the the draft order. Time to start figuring out who we like at pick 6 or 7.
