The thunder announcers have called him Pokachu and Porzingis. Poker is definitely a possibility.

This was Giannis in his rookie season

Have you? I think he'd be lowest picked player to ever win MVP. Behind Nash and Giannis.

What super talented prospect that was skinny ended up failing because they were skinny?

Seriously though he reminds me more of a young Dirk (before you go crazy, go back and look at clips of [b]young[b] Dirk: he was much more fluid in his first few years in the league than even the 2011 championship version) or even an even more raw young Durant. Obviously that's no guarantee he'll reach the level of those players, but he's already got the most important physical tool in basketball: height.

At 19, it's much better to have someone who does something great once and horrible the next possession, rather them a solid player.brutalitops wrote:
Yeah was sitting with a mate, He did something crazy and told Shane
"Dude this guy going to be a future star?"
He just replied wait for it
Horrid looking shot, horrible turnover, followed by an awful defensive possession
Give him 2 years

They have literally zero in common besides being tall and long. Giannis is all athleticism and power while Poku actuall has Basketball skills

He wouldn't, as Jokic will win it in the meantime...
