Wow Thorn Maker--- wanted to make his mark on another team away from Giannis at one point people said he could be the next KG.
Willison Chandler -- He still owes Joel money from a card game.
Boogie Cousins -- Known more for being a disruptive force than for playing basketball.
Kenneth Faried -- I did not know he was still playing basketball.

Re: Unsigned Free agents
I voted Dedmon, but I wouldn't be opposed to Wilson Chandler as an option. If he can still move as well as he did last year, he could help the 76ers. He's one of those guys that wouldn't be afraid of the moment, in the playoffs.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

It'd be amazing if we could somehow pry Mirotic out of Europe, but I just saw he extended with Barcelona through 2025 and the dude is getting paid. His NBA days are over.

Re: Unsigned Free agents
Buyout guys choose from 2 different options: They either choose to play for teams that have a clear path to playing time and significant role, or they ring chase. Illyasova and Belinelli chose the 76ers back then, because the lineup was so thin, they knew they'd play significant minutes. The problem with 76ers now, is that there isn't enough of a clear role for any frontcourt player, except backup PF. And if you really want playing time Miami has a bigger role at PF.

Any interest in Marquese Chriss? He could be a backup option at PF/C.
He's injured.

Who follows the G-League for players other than BBall Paul? What vets on the FA list showed some life there this year? And don't say Amir Johnson, really, just don't, lol. Some of those G-league teams looked really veteran heavy.

Re: Unsigned Free agents
Portland just signed TJ Leaf to a 2-way contract. I didn't know you could sign someone with 3 years service time to a 2-way.
The 76ers should cut Tucker and sign Mifiondu Kabengele or Omari Spellman to a 2-way. Just to have another emergency big body.

What about Jonas Jerebko? He was playing in Russia, but left the team earlier this year. He’s tall, can shoot a bit, and has veteran experience.

They only have until Friday to sign someone who can be eligible in the playoffs. They should really upgrade Scott or atleast have a decent 3rd string center for when Dwight does something stupid to get thrown out of the game.

We don't need another third center/big. We need to acquire a athletic wing shooter / shotcreator who can be respectable on D. A veteran over Korkmaz. Who will be unplayable in the playoffs vs good teams. In the playoffs we need to focus on Embiid ,Simmons and Tobias staggering majority for the 4/5 mins. They provide our midrange and post action. In the playoffs you need offensive firepower , shotcreation and ball movement. Even a guy like Thybulle should take Mike Scotts back up 4 mins because of his inconsistent outside shooting and ballhandling.

I'll be pissed if we waste a spot on Justin Jackson.

I don’t think you’re going to find a guy who checks all those boxes at a level above Korkmaz on the buyout market. The time to get a guy like that was before the deadline.
Any guy we’re talking about signing right now is just a deep reserve who only plays when there are special circumstances (e.g. Dwight gets himself thrown out). You’re not finding a regular member of the playoff rotation.

Simmons needs to play 5 in the playoffs more to cover for his lack of offensive game and shooting. Mclemore and Ellington are both better options over Korkmaz...

I dunno, those guys don’t really move the needle for me. Neither is a better defender than Korkmaz, especially at SF. Not much more shot creation either, and probably worse passers than Furkan. They might/probably be better stand-still shooters, at least given Furk’s current cold streak.
