I always thought we needed one of those especially with Embiid being so injury prone. I think mike scott plays that role somewhat but hes probably more concerned with his career lifeline right now. We could use a goon, everyone other than mike is pretty soft.

You just can't play that way anymore. Closest thing is Dwight probably, and he's more like an agent of chaos or whatever instead of actually trying to play like that.

We don’t need a goon that’s going to go out and act crazy we just need a guy that’s going to jump into somebody face and shove them around without caring about being ejected.

I didn’t think you can do what LeBron did to Jo until that happened, and I can’t remember the name of the guy who hobbled Leonard a few years ago, and basically ended the Spurs dynasty. If the league develops “Embiid Rules” where he is regularly hit low when he’s up in the air to draw an injury, and the best is team mates can do his look the other way, we might as well pack things up now and save him the risk of long term damage.

Morey said it will be “days instead of weeks” for Hill and Embiid’s return.

Mike Scott is a perfect goon with the neck tattoos, but he is a little light these days. Def not a Charles Oakley.

I liked Dwight’s “unintentionally” bumping into Montrezz. It was a clown move, but I enjoyed his acting. His “what did I do?” act was gold. He almost broke character with a laugh.

I’m sure Doc was annoyed that our only center, who is a vet and should know better, got tossed, but Dwight is kind of sending a message that he is willing to get tossed if his agitation skills are needed. Fortunately we were playing a short-handed team so I wasn’t too annoyed at his mistake.

I felt like he meant that about Hill, but can't be certain. I did hear that things were progressing better than expected for Jo. Shams had said he may be ahead of his 2 week timeline, but I guess that time has passed. Hope to see him in the next couple of games though.

James Harden is once again campaigning super hard for an award he won't win. Embiid has to come back and smash that notion to smithereens.

Once he comes back, it's on! No more messing around. We need to be completely prepped and ready for the playoffs.

I wonder if George Hill will also be back that day.

It would be cool to see what the squad can do totally healthy

That's a 360 degree spin move. Should have added a turn around fade away jump shot instead.
