Norm is having a great first game in a new team. I don't think his teammates know how good he really is, should pass to him even more.

JV with 30/15 on 72.2% shooting and took over down the stretch to get the win.

Masai traded away our best players man. I'm positive we win the ship with JV and Delon in place of Marc

I don’t see it, Marc was essential in the playoffs and drove every opposing centre we played nuts with his defence. JV would have scored more, but given up more, and been a much worse help defender.

Happy for Jonas though, always loved him and pulled for his development the whole time he was here.

Marc Gasol turned the Raps into an elite defensive team which is how they won. There is no way we would have beat the Sixers without him, let alone the Bucks.

I used to subscribe to this notion. But earlier this season, in that brief window when we were a decent team, Nurse still found a way to shut down Embiid and Vuce. And Raps swept the Bucks mini-series.

The Gasol trade was the one Masai move I didn't feel great about at the time. (Hell - I even liked the DeMarre Carroll signing at the time. I'm a total Masai fanboy) In retrospect, no-one would take a chance on altering any moves that led to a championship. But did this move actually "result" in a championship? I'm not so sure.

Yup, most people are starting to realize NN was the Embiid stopper, not Gasol

Not to mention, Brett Browns adjustment of putting Embiid on Siakam and Harris on Gasol, and Gasols complete inability to punish Harris, is what extended the series to 7 games and such a tight matchup

And obviously he was unplayable vs BOS

Norm with a quiet 14 pts (on 10 shots) in 34 minutes against the Pistons tonight. He put up 10 shots, Dame 19 shots, CJ 16 shots. I'm not sure he's going to maximize his talents playing with that backcourt. If Norm is going to start, he should be at the 2. If Blazers plan to pay him, they'd have to trade CJ.

I think they are hoping for Norm to show his value in playoffs. What they struggled with is when Dame and CJ are blitzed. So now they have perfect escape valve in Norm.

Gasol came off the bench after Drummond was injured last night. A new low? He's 3rd on the depth chart there now. Hope it was worth it.

I don't see a single team among the top 6 seeds in the western conference who Gasol is playable against in a playoff series.
But then again the Lakers might drop below the 8th seed, so it might not matter.

Gasol was already unplayable for us last year and single handedly lost us game 7 with his 20 minutes

Is it possible for Matt Devlin to be any more annoying?

RHJ signed by Portland. Definitely the playoff team for Rap fans to watch.
