Burks has been great at the end of games lately...He took an early in the shot clock three which seemed to get him benched, but that same threat creates a lot more room for other players to operate. The loss isn't Payton's fault, but he can't be out there to close games. He makes it easy to cheat middle or force the ball off Randle.

He should have just played Burks but I'm not going to kill Thibs for the Elf thing when RJ and Randle both went ice cold and he's forced to play old man Taj at C to guard Karl Towns. The roster isn't very good and he's squeezing a ton out of it. I can forgive some rotation mistakes when we're notoriously thin at the most important offensive position on the floor

IQ shines during the 4th quarter though.

The really sad and pathetic truth about this $#!t, is that our coach, The Mighty Thibs, is turning Payton into THE MOST despised man and Thibs slinks off like a man trying to make this work when he can easily fix this.

Mudiay was better. Trey Burke was way better. Kadeem Allen was better. Brandon Jennings was better. You’d have to go into the late season g league bag of chasson randle or Ron baker to find one worse. Or Frank.

IQ scored 0 points. Payton was bad but 0 points is still 0 points.

When I saw that Edwards steal on a headless Payton I already had a strong sense of losing this one.

Edwards starting to look like the number 1 pick. From the rosters top to bottom, the Wolves literally have more talent than we do.

But we had to go back to Elf at like the 3:45 min mark due to poor play from IQ who provided a whopping DONUT in points tonight. You know, like his only job...scoring.

If IQ brings it and even scores 2pts this is an ugly win and we all sleep better. Except for Leon. Apparently he is super well rested and sleeps great everything, especially through the trade deadline and buyout market week.

 I still think we may have a Horford play. I'll look like a genius if I'm right about this one.

Unbelievable how reliant this team is on Rose. Super clear this game was quality lead guard play from not being close.

Don't you guys get it?

Thibs is in on the tank

He fooled you all into thinking he is only playing Payton because he loves vets. Diabolical mindfukkery at its best!

And he passed up about 6 open threes to dribble into the lane.

They were +11 with IQ on the floor, just existing on the court makes our offense run better even if he doesn't score.

Keep playing Payton. Only 3.5 games from the 9th spot, and a 20% chance of moving into the top 4. Leggo.

I can't see Presti buying out Horford.

That +/- is the most ridiculous thing to use for this game(and most games). Toppin was +4, I guess he should have been out there too. Payton was third best. So the lineup should have been Iq, Payton and Toppin?

IQ is one of my fav players , he still did nothing tonight. I'd have Burks and Bullock out there, but no one except Randle was scoring in the 4th they dont have enough talent to win every game.
