talking about bouk? he can defend and score, kinda what you want from shooting guards : lol:
Mostly Bouk, to a lesser extent also Green,
Bouk can't really defend he just looks like he is because he's trying really hard but he's quite bad at it, random scrubs get by him all the time. He also doesn't pass or shoot well. I'm not a fan at all
I think its fair not to like him, but I think you have to group Green in that category as well. Green was a terrible defender in G-League and he is also going to measure out similar to Bouknight.
My read on the draft the past few years is that GMs after the next unicorn or jumbo creator probably regret passing on the elite 6'5 scoring guards.
Off the top of my head the following 6'5 guys were recently drafted way too late given how valuable they are now:
Jamal Murray (7) - Bender, Dunn, Hield taken before him.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander (11) - Carter Jr., Mo Bamba, Kevin Knox taken before him.
Tyler Herro (13) - Jaxson Hayes, Hachimura, PJ Washington taken before him.
Donovan Mitchell (13) - Josh Jackson, Zach Collins, Jonathan Isaac taken before him.
Devin Booker (13) - Trey Lyles, Justice Winslow, Frank Kaminsky taken before him.
Pass on Bouknight at your own peril.
