Congrats to Mr. Carter getting the vest tonight. He was awesome on both ends of the floor. Cummerbund to Chuma who played a very solid all-around game despite not shooting well. Mittens goes to Ennis who was solid the whole game.

Carter for sure. Bulls fans were insanely harsh on WCJ. Not seeing any of the things they talked about with him. Been very solid for us and won us the last two games along with Chuma.

Are we off to our first ever unanimous winner ???
Curious it would be a bench player to pull off the feat.

Carter for the vest (obviously)
Ross for the cummerbund for providing much needed scoring
Okeke for the mittens; great to see him be important in a game he is not scoring

Gotta be Van Gundy by a mile (for resting their starters)

I had little expectations for Wendell but I have to say he has impressed me in that he is not one dimensional and seems mature and able to handle pressure. He made so many clutch plays.

After 3 games, WCJ has more vests than Bamba in 3 years...

Why? WCJ had way more time to develop because his team actually played him regularly. Chicago fans don't think he's very good but actually playing him is what helped him get better. If we had done the same for Bamba...but this franchise doesn't know what its doing.

Ok, let's continue coming up with excuses until he is 30.

So based on prior discussion, we want to finish the season kind of in the middle of being the absolute worst and out of the tournament to maximize chances of hitting #1, right?

Ok, because getting regular playing time means nothing. I'd agree with you but then we'd both be wrong

WCJ doesn't have Bamba's physical gifts, no one does really, but he's a much better basketball player.

Same draft one pick apart and it is obvious that WCJ is superior to Bamba. Face the facts, Bamba just don't got it.

How did no one know WCJ was this good? Maybe I was too much of a hawk and fan scout that year between the likes of DraftExpress, League Pass, competitive fantasy league. Nothing WCJ’s done has surprised me, and I’ve actually seen better from him before.

I argued for us to draft WCJ over Bamba 3 years ago. I thought that we needed a player with his size and strength.

I still like Bamba tho and hope they share the center spot for the next 4-5 years.

I’m not arguing who is superior or not, but I’m gonna flat out deny that Bamba “just don’t got it”.

Over the last 3 games, in 17mpg he is averaging:

11ppg on 9fgas (42% from 3 on 2 attempts/game)
6.7rpg
1.7apg
1.7bpg

With a positive +/- as well, whilst the team is 2-1.

The kid is only just starting to dig into the gap between his potential and his ability, too. I’d say that’s pretty damn promising.

WCJ also looks equally great, so I’m doubly happy.

Meanwhile Vuc is leading the Bulls back into the lottery. I guess he never had it like so many here thought.

1200 total minutes in 3 seasons aren't that much. Take into consideration that WCJ is so injury-prone as Bamba, so it's not like he is playing 25mpg during 82 games per season. In fact, Bamba played 13 more games and is 1 year older.
