I put him as runner up. Why not?

Jazz will just switch a guard on Porzingis. Jazz are happy to let him fire away from 28 feet.

Jazz had a two-game series with the Mavs already. Both games were blowouts.

Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t know we were citing two game regular season samples to make our case.

You're not really making a case here. Jazz are a much better team and are a tough matchup for the Mavs. Jazz have won 4 of the last 5 times the teams have played, and a playoff series would be about the same.

Mavs have very little success going to the rim on Gobert, Brunson is their only other creator, they don't have guys who are great scorers in isolation other than Luka, and their defense is soft. FWIW, the Mavs are likely to be the 7th or 6th seed and lose in the 1st round to someone else.

The case is Luka and KP are throwing fireballs for the last month+, and the Jazz are weak at perimeter defense.

The Jazz are heavily reliant on outside shooting which is easier to control in the playoffs when defenses close out harder and they have consistently disappointed in the playoffs with their current roster.

Betting on the Jazz in the playoffs: such a lucrative venture, why quit now?

Not in the convo at all. Pretty hard to tell how good of a job he's doing because of how much talent they have.

He’s top 20 . I mean the team defense is still not very good and he copy paste Mike Dantoni offense . You can’t judge him until the playoffs anyhow

I’ll throw in OKC coach as well he gets them play hard with little talent

The Nets would have the same record with a scarecrow in his chair. He gets zero credit.

I have no problem putting Nash 3rd.. But it's hard to fail with that roster

Nash is just there for the ride. Just a yes man brought into appease the real show runners of that team. Another Mike Brown. Probably worse than Mike Brown too if I'm being honest.
