I called him Al Horford when the trade happened, && I'm only feeling more confident in my prediction now. He was not just some bust throw-in, he is already a quality NBA starting-level player with upside.

dont worry you will get the 5th-10th bc AK already all ined.
If he does stupid stuff like tanking, he will get fired with BD so Bulls wont be bad as worst but competitive to become bottom 10.
His stupidity will cost a top 5 pick in 2023 is what I really fear. Protection was way too loose.

For trade purposes, I believe the answer is yes. That top 4 protected 2023 1st would shift to top 3 protected 2024 1st because the Bulls are not legally allowed to owe to consecutive 1st rounders.

However...

From a practical standpoint, that 2023 top 4 protected 1st would still be on the table for the Magic because there is the faint possibility that the 2022 Bulls 1st could become a pair of 2nd rounders. If that happened and both the 2021 and 2022 picks didn't convey to Orlando in the first round, then I believe (but not positive) that the 2024 pick would actually shift back to a 2023 pick.

I could be wrong on that, but I believe that would be the case since we'd know where the Bulls 2022 pick was going to land well before the draft, by lotto night at the latest.
