I think Birch has more value then people give him credit for. If you put him in a starting role, he can easily be a 10/10/2 player. He is mobile and plays good defense, teams value these type of players on good contracts. Tyson Chandler, Biyombo, Tristan Thompson, Cody zeller, JaVale McGee, etc

Agree with this and next year to figure it out.
But, if He were due a contract this summer, you'd be a sucker giving him 10+ with his track record.

He's been producing the last 3 game, so we'll see if he can keep it up.

Birch is a solid player but when you are a rebuilding team and two of your prospects play the same position, it doesn’t make much sense for him to take those minutes. I’m surprised he hasn’t traded as I think he could help a team needing a backup big. Bamba & Carter should get those minutes to see what they. Carter in a new environment and Bamba finally healthy and able to see the floor at least give us a proper evaluation. I doubt we keep both of them long term anyways so let them battle it out.
