We need to win next two games to push our winning streak to 6 games with a 35-14 record before facing Jazz & Clippers. If Clipps lose to Nuggets tonight which is looking that way I wouldn't mind us losing to Utah and LA. We've 3 game lead possibly 4 after today in lose column over Clippers. But dont think we'll catch the Jazz with them constantly putting up huge winning streaks.

Gotta bank these wins while we can. Even if we win these at the buzzer in the ugliest games ever, we need them.

One of the first games ever where I honestly have to say that I don't really know anybody on the opposing starting five. o_O

We've got 4 losses in hand with Clippers, Lakers, Denver, Portland all on 18 losses.

If we can avoid a bad 7 game stretch (eg. 2-5) we should finish 2nd.

Regardless of who's starting for OKC they shouldn't take them lightly. The Thunder pulled out a bunch of improbable wins this season and seem to be in most games.

The key stretch is the long Eastern Conference road trip where the Suns play @ Milwaukee, @ Brooklyn, @ Philadelphia, @ Boston, @ NY Knicks, etc..

The B2B next week vs. Utah, then @ Clippers will be tough, but that Eastern Conference trip with basically games against teams 1-6 in the East, and then actually after they get back home, the play the Clippers on a Monday, then the Jazz on a Wednesday...

That stretch will likely decide the Suns seeding in the West.

I would be happy with just a win.

The Thunder do not have names, but they have hungry young players.

Still 27 games left...so seeding a bit premature still...unless we build like a 5 game lead on the 3 seed at the end of that stretch.

We've actually been a better road team, despite dropping games to WAS, DET, CHA, ORL, etc.

That game against Utah will be interesting...they are blowing teams out by 40 and we are limping to the finish line in games.

The Clips...it might depend on the health of guys like George, Ibaka, Beverley, Morris and Rondo. Ibaka and Beverley have been on the shelf for a few weeks and George and Morris having lingering issues.

Philly should have Embiid back, and Brooklyn probably KD back.

Celtics have more scoring punch with Fournier off the bench and improved defense since Smart came back. They lack a little in size after trading Theis, but I think they still have Tristan Thompson who may have been out for a little while. We have always played the Bucks tough...but who knows...they can obviously beat anyone.

No idea how the Knicks will be against us. They seem like a team we can beat, but Randle has been a monster rebounder, scorer and assist guy and they have Robinson and Noel though I don't know how healthy they are. It may come down to how well Barrett plays...he is very hot and cold. Quickley was a nice pickup for them, though I guess they start Payton. We should beat them...they just lost to Minnesota (though so did we).

I think 3-4 on that 7 game stretch would be ok, 4-3 would be good, and 5-2 would be really good.

And some monster rebounders. I think that Moses Brown guy had 20 boards the other night and I've seen Roby have big rebounding games too..and they both start.

Suns have already lost to the Thunder this season so they should come out with vengeance on their mind.

Difference is, they don't have Shai, Dort, Horford, or Hill anymore.
I agree, this is a game we can't take lightly, but we are off until Monday after this one. I want to see them treat this like a big game. Play hard and don't take your foot off their neck.

Wish we played on Sunday instead of Monday...seems like they wouldn't schedule games during the NCAA national championship. Looks like our next two day break (and last) is Apr 22nd-25th. We have 6 b2b sets of games before the end of the season. Only one of them is against the same team. One is at NY and Brooklyn though and one is at home. Another isn't much of a trip between Philly and Boston.

About 5 miles separate MSG and Barclays, so my guess is the team won't be changing hotels. That def helps.
