Nobody can convice me that Anthony Davis draft wasn't rigged.
In a year when NBA decided to sell a team, it just happend to top pick went there, not to team that won 9 games whole season.

When Lakers needed to stay relevant, and only way to keep pick was if it lands within top 3, Lakers kept pick in 2017.
When Pelicans were about to lose Davis, they just happend to land Zion ( and allow Lakers to trade for Anthony Davis).

As far as shady thing and lottery goes, David Stern's best friend just happends to be T wolves owner, and now go and look how many lotteries T wovles won in past 10 years. Three in last 7 years.

Than google how many nba teams never won lottery ( around 10 of them ).

People just forget that nba is private league and it's runned by politics and nepotism more than anything else. Who woted for Silver? Nobody . But guess who worked with Adam's daddy in low firm, well what a shocking twist- David Stern.
He was hire as PERSONAL ASSISTENT to David Stern- by David Stern at age of 30. Guy literally, with college in law, tranformed into nba by, allegedly, writing David Stern - a letter. ( his story, can't even make up this bull*** ).

According to him, he sent one letter to commisionaire of nba, David called him to have meeting and month later he was hired as assistent, few years later he was senior CEO. No experience, not required college, nothing. "Letter".

Guys, let's not be naive. It's like a pigs farm, everybody is equal, there just happends to be some more equal than others.

Guys guys guys, have you forgotten? Silver does the old-fashioned "refrigerated" ping-pong balls so he knows how to screw the draft for teams like us!

What if we were to deflate the pingpong balls? Could I win a super bowl?

I dont know where we would play (god i wish he was like 3 inches taller so he could be a SG), but i love this guys game and even though we already have Fultz and Cole, would still be happy if we took this kid with the Chi pick

With the age of SUPER zoom lens in our cam phones, some conspiracy nut ( more so than us magic fans ) might go tinfoil and claim rigged. This "cold" balls is the key. Camera lens can't see the frost and since Silver is really an alien overlord in disguise, he could just claim its his "cold-bloddedness" that gives the feeling of chill.

He was a freshman at Auburn with Chuma, before he transferred. Chuma and him are both from Georgia.

Maybe, maybe not, no one really knows where these mid-tier guys are actually ranked. Like how many people had Chuma in their mock that high yet apparently WeHam got a bunch of texts and calls saying they stole him from them. I know that year i wanted to "steal "bol Bol or "reach" for Cam Johnson, he went in the lotto while hyped up "lotto picks" like Kevin Porter, KZ Okpala and Nas Little all went in the 30s

or Last year, who had Jalen Smith in the top 10 or Pat williams at 4? or Hailuburton and Vassell to go so late?

Most people know the top 5, the rest is a total crapshoot. Thats why when it comes to all guys outside of Cade\green\suggs\mobley\kuminga, they are all potential picks in the middle of the 1st for me

All i know is that he plays like a better version of Marcus Smart when he came out and unlike smart can actually shoot, and with his game and personality, it wouldnt surprise me if he goes much higher than mocks have him

Actually Mike Schmitz has him as the 12th ranked player in his top 100. It'll be a fun matchup if he faces off with Suggs in the championship game.

That's why I always said if you lead your team deep in the NCAAT and averaging amazing stats, you will be picked ahead of your "real" draft range.

Personally that is why I think aside from Green and Kuminga of course, Todd, Nix and the rest should have went to NCAA. I think they couldve snuck in the 1st round rather than where they will be picked ( in the mid 2nd round if you believe the draft boards )

The "clearly tanking" Raptors are pounding the Warriors by 18 at the half. Good for the Magic.

It's almost like when a team faces another team that is missing its best players, it's a lot easier to win.

The Warriors might decide to shut it down too. Draymond was scratched, and I think Mannion is starting.

So, who's onboard with Corey Kispert at 6? I was hoping to get him with the CHI pick, but I was also hoping to be picking in the Top 5. Those dreams are now DEAD.

Any GM who picks Krispert at 6 is gonna get fired lol.

So you're saying I'm ahead of the game.... ?

I haven't bashed any of WeHam's picks. Even Bamba. Worst I've come so far is disliking Cole but I really wanted to trade up for Vassell or take Jaden McDaniels.

I just wished they were more aggressive at times... and I hate how they treat 2nd rounders.

Dont think that matters, NBA knows how to find guys. If youre good, NBA doesnt care if youre playin the NCAA, NIT, Gleague, FIBA, spain etc.... Hell, where did they find Poku last year? Serbian national team?

If you can play, they will know you

On the bright side, good chance the bulls lose again, 0-4 with vuc......maybe we do actually end up getting 2 top 10 picks?

Oh for sure but Im taking about the extra few spots. Taken 15th rather than 25 is already a couple millions of dollars difference correct? ( I forgot the salary ). Besides, taking your team deep in the tourney shows the "clutch gene" or the " not afraid of the big lights" attitude and etc. Something that won't be shown elsewhere.

Pokuševski was Olympiakos youngest player to ever play in Euroleague, at age of 17. Guy was like 6'11- 180 pounds
Guy is very talented ,just toothpick.
In last 20 days he scored 20+ points 3 times.

To your point, it doesn't matter where you play . RJ Hampton played in New Zealand, Christian Dawkins tried to payed him under a table to sign for him

I take Corey at 6 (with the CHI pick) after I took Cade/Suggs/Green with OUR pick.

More realistic... I take Corey at 9 (with the CHI pick) after I took Keon Johnson with OUR pick at 6.

If we could combine Keon's athleticism with Corey's shooting, we'd be talking about an elite Top 6!
