I'm always amazed at how resistant NBA teams are to signing high school coaches.

I don't know. was it Larry birds finger? WEll that means something. But I'm not sure what. I post over on Celtics blog too and they have some interesting things to say about him. I'm not sure what to think. But I'm sure he will sum it up in 3 or 4 words.

I don't read Celtics blog, I sure whatever they said is glorious and flattering

But but but I thought Gordon sucked.. lol if Gordon sucks 90 percent of our roster sucks.

Celtics no longer have the smartest/best FO, honestly it seems like we’re a tier behind the best FO’s.

If we change our coach, find Kemba a new home and resign fournier, then i'd consider that an offseason win.

Don’t think anyone thought he sucked. It’s just typical that he finally has found consistent health as soon as he left us.

He's made it through 43 games.

Jaylen for Wiseman/Looney/Ws Minny pick (if Looney opts in and the pick conveys at 4 or 5).

I wanted this kid on the Cs... hopefully Ainge/Zarren are right and I'm wrong.

So IT and RHJ sign with other teams... it looks like this is the final roster :violin:

By 26 or 27, they could very well be with another team. Hey, at least another franchise could benefit from their maturation. If we're still thinking 5-year windows or longer, good luck with that.

Package Kemba + Jaylen + picks and get the best talent you can from that package. Roll with a core of Tatum-Timelord-Smart-unnamedstar-Fournier. Those four fit each other best among the players we have now and Jaylen has the most trade value not named Tatum. Sorta kinda like KD-Dray-Iggy-Curry-Klay. But the homeless version.

Reset the cap and the top 5 of this draft is the best since lebron melo wade and bosh.

Cade, Mobley, Suggs, Green and Kumanga are all legit number 1 overall picks

I proposed a similar deal before the deadline with Kelly Oubre (expiring) included instead of Looney. I don't think GS would be very willing to give another big along with Wiseman.

Just goes to show how confident Brad is about not getting fired.

I think as long as Ainge is around, Brad's not going anywhere.

Yeah. The biggest thing we need is a guy who pounds the ball into the floor while surveying the defense until he sees a chance to do something amazing.

I like the long time horizon Brad is playing. You don’t win in the NBA when your best player is 24 or under. Jordan didn’t, LeBron didn’t, Tatum won’t. Kobe won at 22 but he had 28 year old Shaq. Don’t try and recreate the wheel.

People are upset now because weve been spoiled by success. We traded away our stars from the title team went full rebuild and only missed the playoffs one year. Ainge was able to make a million trades and gain value to eventually get IT and then Kyrie. Those moves let us attract good free agents in Horford and Hayward.

Basically, because Ainge and Brad did such a fantastic job in the past, people are hating on them for doing an average job now.
