Yeah it was great. Epic is definitely the right word. I can't imagine the budget for that thing. I didn't even really hear about it til you mentioned it here. Maybe saw it pimped on Prime, but I was "drug cartel show"-ed out, so probably wouldn't have watched it otherwise. But, this was a lot more than just that.

Yeah, the wild part is that it is largely an original screenplay. It is very loosely based on a true crime novel about the international drug trade that written by the Italian journalist who wrote Gomorrah. Wild stuff.

Oh man, what a crazy series. Just finished it on Thursday.

This is the sort of stuff Dream Theater lacked when Portnoy left. Mangini seems like a good guy and he is definitely an amazing drummer in his own right, but it was never the same.

Props to Tony Levin also for rocking a beanie, tucking his shirt into his jeans and still bossing on his chapman stick.

Album drops next week I think.

Honestly, tempted to give DMX his own thread. He was EVERYWHERE for a good 6-7 years, and I’d say 75% of this board is a fan.

I wasn’t his biggest fan overall, but Ruff Ryder Anthem will always be on my workout playlist.
