Absolute destruction by the Blazers in this one, and they had some good defensive intensity to start this game.

Been a while since the Blazers have blown out a team. Typically they play to the level of the opponent. Glad to see they kept it up.

I don't have SNY but was wondering how Moses Brown (we had on a two way contract) looked.

It might have been nice if we had kept him as a third center on a minimum deal

Welcome back Giles! May Carmelo never play a minute at the 5 again.

Depending on the matchup, I would test Giles as PF against one of these very tall teams. I was hoping against the Buck when nothing worked against Giannis in the first half, that in desperation TS would have turned to Giles, who at least matched him in height, doesn't give up that much weight, and is quicker that Nurk or Kanter. Besides 6 fresh fouls could do no harm.

He got pushed around rather easily. He had 10 points if I remember correctly, but he's like 7'2 so he should get a few tips at the bucket over Nurkic and Kanter and a couple of lobs on a PNR, etc. He was a non-factor, but maybe that's not the best game to judge any of the OKC players by.

Agreed. I don't consider Giles III a C at all. He is a PF and should not play C again unless for injuries.

He looked tall and ran, but was beat a lot due to lack of experience or strength. Maybe he looks better other games, but seems like he's still more worth talking about for his potential vs what he's currently doing.
