There's something off about Edwards. Great talent, but I find his energy a little off-putting.
RJ is gonna stay professional and steadily improve until he becomes an All-Star and a winning player. Just gotta stay patient, and accept the lows along the way.
Gives me Andrew Wiggins vibes.
I was gonna go with early 2010s Sacramento Kings vibes but Wiggins works too.

i felt sorta similarly leading up to the draft and to start the year, but he played like an all around winner against us the other night

Yeah, he has a ton of talent, but he's very boom or bust.

Norvel Pelle sounds like a kind of champagne.

Wonder if Noel and Pelle have a Haitian heritage. Those are French names.

Re: PG: Knicks Pistons Firing
So nice to see Obi get a few buckets and gain confidence.
Seems like he's figuring out NBA spacing as a non-center. His movement has looked much better the last 3 games. One thing for sure, he can finish around the rim, and he's obviously very athletic when he gets a head of steam (not in isolation). His attitude's been great overall.

So are you guys that were on the ledge and/or lining up the pitchforks now off the edge and/or put the pitchforks away?

If I had to bet on one of the lottery guys (Knicks lottery guys to be clear) who haven’t worked out it would have to be Knox. He has enough tools where you can see him putting it together enough to become a decent scorer.

Yeah you know a whole bunch of his life flashed before his eyes when he saw that finger poking out at an angle like that.

Note to self: perform analysis to see if games Knicks win coincide with games HerSports85 decides to not watch.

No doubt if he had gotten more minutes and started for another team that has PGs that can set him up, he'd look more confident and comfortable out there. But this might make him better in the long run if he has to adapt to the type of game he has now.

Wikipedia has Noel's parents as both being from Haiti. However it has Pelle with Antiguan, Lebanese and US heritage. The Lebanese bit would be an explanation of the French-ness.

I actually missed the game, I’m on a road trip, but I listened to the entire game on Sirius XM radio. Sounds like we kicked ass. The Pistons commentary was pretty salty and depressed

Re: PG: Knicks Pistons Firing
Post game takes:
1. Trying to figure out why the Pistons didn't play zone...oh right, the Knicks zone busted the game from the start with their shooting so no reason to...but were they even planning to? I would have.
2. Everybody was grooving on the Knicks. The Pistons? Not so much.
3. Now if the Knicks can only play the Pistons every night
4. Good Randle is THE Randle, he was just tired
5. It's good to see the Knicks fired up to make up for the debacle against the Mavs, this was a trap game and they came out of it with flying colors playing a complete 48 minute game
6. Hamidou Diallo looks pretty damn good...I believe he's an RFA after this season.
7. Norvel Pelle, gotta love the guy. 3 minutes, 3 rebounds, 3 blocks and 1 dislocated finger 2 minutes into those 3 minutes.
8. Barrett showed flashes of setting up his teammates. He's more than capable. If he can improve that part of his game it'll make things easier for Randle and the Knicks (sans a real starting PG) and maybe Randle himself will get easy looks
9. Nerlens still has stone hands. If Taj was just 5 years younger...
10. Knicks WIN!!!
