Beginning of the 2nd could be a good place to find a role playing PG that could develop (pretty sure Brunson was a 2nd, and I know there are others that had similar path). We have a swap with Pels we can use (if we end up with a better record than them ... so would love for them to start tanking at some point).

Sharife Cooper (Auburn) would be interesting if he was there. Really good offensive athlete; really fun to watch in college because of his playmaking. Surprised at first he was so low in mocks, but I also probably mostly saw highlights and a couple games where his offense really impressed. Not sure what his limitations are.

I wish we could at least get into the late 1st. Now that we have vet bigs, I'd be more interested in Kai Jones. I think he has some good under the radar potential as a mid first that could drop towards end of first.

I really like Giddey. But I don't think he lasts till late 1st, much less early 2nd. I still have to look at 2nd round prospects, but I'll be sure to check Cooper.

I’d love to see the Bulls work a trade into the first round for someone like Giddey or Cooper. But I’ve pretty much given up hope on that happening. We don’t have anything to offer unless we find a team with a crush on Coby White.

I haven't given up hope. I could see a scenario that trading either Thad, Sato or even Aminu/Green for some kind of dead salary or even together with one of our 2nd rounders could get us a late first.

What a treat Monday will be, watching Suggs try and do his thing against Mitchell and Butler. They made Grimes’ life miserable, they’re such a good perimeter defensive team.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a better perimeter defense in college.

I just can't get behind Kispert going as high as he's projected.

Grimes is a scrub though.

But yeah that matchup should be fun. Unless UCLA spoils it.

Ayayi’s draft stock should get a few ticks up from his play. Been so good and steady throughout.

It's crazy how accurate UCLA's midrange shooting has been. They're getting by playing 90s style basketball.

Unfortunate ending to a great game. Nothing against Suggs/Zags. Would just prefer to see it won w/o a dumb luck bank shot.

Yeah I’m gonna need that Suggs.

He’s an amalgamation of everything we’re missing.

That was the best Final Four game I've ever seen in over 40 years of watching. UCLA came so close to pulling off a Buster Douglas magnitude upset. The defense played in that game and the intensity makes it hard to watch the NBA again.

First Four to Final Four was enough but to come that close to beating one of the best NCAA basketball teams ever, was really something.

I can't even imagine that game with a real live, full crowd going crazy.

Suggs has always been my pick if we have one. Franchise changer.
