What Would Peak Ray Allen's Stats Look Like Today?
Obviously one of the greatest shooters ever. Could also dribble by you and finish. What numbers would he put up today?

Peak Ray Allen with today's style of basketball would likely be consensus top 10.

I mean, it mostly depends on the team and his role. He'd easily have 30ppg as the first option on a mid-tier team.

I was hoping and expecting this to be one of the first replies. You did not disappoint. Jroy have it all.

32PPG and i think he may actually have better passing stats also.
He had 6APG in Seattle one season, i could see a prime Ray Allen in the modern game which does have better passing averaging north of 7APG.

Re: What Would Peak Ray Allen's Stats Look Like Today?
He'd probably be putting up around 28-30 points a game. Would likely be a bit over 30 at his peak. If you look at his career averages and compare them to similar players today, he would would likely be doubling the amount of three-pointers he took. Add that to the weak defense in today's league and you have Bradley Beal numbers.

If Bradley Beal is putting up 31 ppg right now, Ray Allen could put up 35.

Ray Allen in his peak years always had pretty good scoring options next to him, he wouldn't have to jack everything up like Beal has done the past couple years.

Didn't you get the memo? Every star in the history of the NBA would average 30ppg, when it's not 35 or 40ppg.

Beal is better than Ray Allen at everything except 3-point shooting.

Re: What Would Peak Ray Allen's Stats Look Like Today?
What kind of team is he on? Are we just randomly predicting the highest ppg he could put up on a trash team, or are we talking about if he was on a good team?
I don't really see much value in the what kind of stats could a player put on a trash team where they are just shooting a lot kind of discussions.
On an average good team, and depending on the level of PG play which would determine how much he is used as a playmaker, I would say 27-28 ppg and he could range from 4-6 apg depending on how much he's needed to be a playmaker.

Lol, I know you are trying to be funny but a lot of older stars would truly see an explosion in their numbers. The game is extremely different from how it used be played. It's played faster, it's perimeter oriented and more emphasis on the 3 point shot. Just on those facts alone and without naming other factors should tell you older players would avg more. Back in the 90s scoring 100 points in game was considered difficult. Now if you don't score 100 you probably lose a game.

Keep his stats the same, but make him a 2nd option. As a first option he would put up Dame/Beal stats

I don't know about this, lol. I think you are underestimating how good RayRay was. Allen lead a pretty crappy Seattle team to the playoffs in a packed West Conf. Beal can't even lead a crappy Washington Wiz team to the playoffs in a god awful Eastern conf even with a play in game.

I know how good Ray was. Beal is a better scorer than Ray was in every way except shooting off of screens
Ray Allen isn’t gonna be the best scorer in the league today lol.

How many points did they average in the ‘80s?

Not trying speak poorly of Bradley, he is just putting up numbers on a bad team. He has done nothing as a lead guy.

Beal is having an incredible season as a scorer and is the only player averaging over 30. Only a handful of players have done it in recent years.

Yes, they avg 100 in the 80s as well but doesn't mean that some star players won't benefit to how the game is played today one being Ray Allen.

There are fewer 30 pt scorers in the league today then there were in 2003. Interesting.
I wonder how many PPG Beal would average on the early 2000s?
