The story seems all over the place with no real direction imo. Don Cheadle's character looks cool to me but kidnapping a kid just to get Lebrons attention to challenge him to a basketball game? For what purpose?

I'm going to need to see another trailer that adds more sense otherwise I don't know. It just looks like it was thrown together quickly. The Looney Tunes don't seem to have any kind of story other than just being there for Lebron to recruit since Cheadle's character randomly sent him from the Tron world over to the Looney Tune Land. Team Hannah Barbera shows up to the party reminding me of that big news team fight scene from Anchor Man 2, and the actual players on the bad side are ALSO just there looking like they were just created for the purpose of this game with no individual backstories. Good Lord that sounds awful to me.

Say whatever you want about Michael Jordans acting and the Looney Tunes dialog compared to the actual cartoon from all those decades before the movie(Wasn't perfect but not that bad imo), but atleast the original had a more balanced story centered around the Monstars looking to give Swakhammer a new attraction on Moron Mountain, the Toons having a reason to need MJ so that they don't have to go over there and to become slaves, and MJ needing them to help him realize that basketball was the game he was meant to play over baseball in a fun kiddy exaggerated kind of way. Not to mention some much more fun extra characters in Larry Bird and Bill Murray.

I'll watch this but as of now that's where I stand on this sequel. Hopefully I can find it for free some where.

So a movie where LeBron has to do it all while his teammates just watch and try not to get in the way?

Is this based on his first stint in Cleveland?

Space Jam would look more realistic, if LBJ wasn't happy with some of his teammates and traded Bugs or whoever to the monstars for a superstar. We all know he ain't about to compete against a more talented squad than his.

Lol at people watching this and expecting legit Oscar level or even decent acting from lebron or anyone-let alone critiquing it because of said acting. it’s made for little kids and it relies on effect for its crutch. Its about talking pigs and bunny’s playing aliens in basketball

It’s a fun 90 minute escape for 90s babies to reminisce and new kids to fall in love with for the 1st time.

Acting looks solid (not Oscar worthy).
I do like how they add the old Looney Toon animation but upgrade it to the Ready Player One style. Music and sounds are solid.
I wouldn't go to the theater to see it but I'll def check it out on HBO Max
