You know the sound a dentist's drill makes? That high-pitched whine?

I'm hearing a lot of that around here lately.

Cousins could be GS's Savior. Go after him off season.

Post#1683 » by paco59 » Sun Apr 4, 2021 8:39 pm

He is the best candidate at creating his shots at the post including all FA and next draft. If you want Green to stay then you need a talented Big who can average 20 pts a game. Him or Anthony towns buy I don't think he is available. Simple as that.
Another talented wing may help. But a scoring big is a must next to Draymond.

No way.
He meshed very well with current group during his short stint here.

His post and outside game was awesome.

Green kept passing and Cousins kept scoring.
On the defensive end he pushed people around and box out for rebounds. Green is the weakside help with shotblocking.

Totally in sync. Chemistry is there. Even better than Bogut and Green combo.

Bro please stop posting a new thread every time you have a stray thought. Put it into the FA thread or something...

Trying to emphasize what kind big needed to put next to a non scoring green to make it work.

As long as the big scores consistently either outside or inside. Other than Cousins, I think Drummond or Greg Monroe would also work. They can score consistently inside.

Unfortunately, wiseman couldn't score consistently.

The only thing going for Wiseman consistently is the lob threat. Might as well stay with Damian Jones. Overall effect they are about the same.

Have you seen Cousins play recently? He was lucky to snag a 10-day contract with the Clippers.

OK, now I know you're just playing for laughs. Greg Monroe, who was cut two months ago by the Russian club Khimki, a team that was 2-19 and in last place in the Euroleague. Yeah, that's the guy we need.

Not really, I know Monroe's limitation.
He has short arms and can't block shots. Usually teams want a big that can block shots.. That's why he got cut.

But he's very talented at the block and very adept at passing.

Cousins and Monroe almost the same. They are not rim protectors and lob threats.

That's where Green's strong point comes in and his weakside shotblocking will cover up Monroe's and Cousins's weaknesses.

Monroe and cousin post games can help cover up Green's non-existent offense.

Wiseman can offer lob threat and can come off the bench

Warriors have to fill a roster spot by Thursday, either convert a 2-way, sign a FA to a 10-day, or sign a FA to a rest-of-season contract. I thought JTA had the inside track, but he seems to be playing his way out of a chance. Three fouls in 5 1/2 minutes last night didn't help his case.

Do they save on luxury taxes a little for not filling the spot until the last minute?

Rest-of-season contracts are pro-rated, so yeah, it would be a few days less, which would lessen the total team salary that the tax is based on.

Sign Jordan Bell. They need a backup PF anyway, and let him and Wiseman run around being frenzied together.

Team needs some energy & mojo.
This movie is like the Rocky Horror Picture Show where everyone knows all the lines.

JJ seems like he would help the bench tbh. Maybe even better than Oubre?

is it cheaper to sign players to 10 day contracts or to sign someone the rest of the season? anyone saw how spellman and kaleb wesson looked in g league? hopefully they take a chance one someone young and hopefully try to turn their career around. maybe someone like zhaire smith
