A lot of people care about seeding but if the sixers end up getting the third seed so let be it. I just wanna see this team tested in playoffs and not getting a free ride to the Efc to get dumpsterd by the nets

I'd much rather play Brooklyn with HCA

Heres the thing.

I was super down on this team at the start of the year. We rely on shooters being consistent and none of our shooters are...so nights like this make sense. But then we got off to the hot start..so maybe not. But we have had quite a few nights like this lately. So which is it lol?

Now of course, Embiid is out, back to back, Mike Scott is terribad and Tony Bradley is god....so yeah my precious precious context does play a role here.

But still not a good look.

again tho this is a reset year....so the probable end is just like the last few years lol.

Bottom line tho...team needs a shot creator...even if Tobias has been solid in that role, Shake not being solid and Ben regressing back to Scaredy Boi Ben...makes that even more clear.

It is what it is

Lol

Maybe you share the same thoughts as Morey who believe we can simply start Mike Scott in absence of Embiid and everything would still be ok when he decide to throw away TB.

Why would you want to face the Bucks and in case you beat them then face the Nets, instead of having an easier path to the conference finals against worse and more flawed teams and have the Bucks-Nets battle it out in the second round?

The way things are now in the East there are 3 teams clearly better than the rest (Celtics have talent if Kemba somehow returns to form but they look mediocre at the moment, Miami lacks talent really). The first seed appears to have a considerably easier path to the final the way things are right now.

I hate to toot my own horn but this is the way we should have approached the last 2 games.

Was there another option for us? Overpay for Lowry, and deal with his foot infection now?

I feel more of the blame goes to Morey for not pulling the trigger on Harden, and even more so on Brand and management for signing Al Horford, and the Jimmy trade.

We had what we needed, then we took 10 steps back. It takes time for Morey to fix this. I also will not discount Doc's pull here. Morey said it was a partnership form the beginning. Would not be surprised if Doc said don't trade Ben, or if he's nixed some trades.

The real question is did Houston want 3 first plus 3 draft swaps plus maxey plus Ben?

What exactly was the offer. Ben needs to be shutdown for a couple of games.

He will get traded sooner than later. What I really hate about ben is that 5 years into the league he is still flawed as ****, no shooting or wathsoever, poor touch around the rim. He is just a recipe for disaster for any offence unless you are the golden state warriors

Regularly scoring single digit point games is much worse than not having a jumpshot. You don’t need a jumpshot to be able to bear a scoring load with his athleticism.

I just hope Ben can level his games up a little bit the rest of season so that we can still nab some values for him this summer.

But to be honest I don't even care that anymore after realising that he is just a fraud. He is not even good at basketball he is just a good athletes who picked up the wrong game.

It is funny how we chose Ben over Jimmy and now we would love to unload Ben for for a Jimmy type player. Every year someone unexpected seems to become available so I assume next year we’ll be trying to move Ben for that star.
