I feel like it would have done wonders for KD's legacy if he and Kyrie were able to get the Nets a chip. But he, Harden and Kyrie? Meh, it's expected. A little less expected than him and the Warriors but meh. He'd have to be a real loser to lose with that squad.

Also I shouldn't say Kyrie sucks, he obviously doesn't as a basketball player. But if he's your top player and that's it, you're not going far, or even to the playoffs. He doesn't suck but to me he's not a really great player.

Agreed, now this Harden.. I can't even front this **** is magical bro. Hes a wizard with his vision and the basketball. Watching him with the rockets made me want to gouge? my eyes out. Idk if I spelled that correctly. That euro step travel, spending half an hour at the ft line.... The most boring display of bball But he changed his entire game.

That being said **** harden, **** kd, **** kyrie bi polar ass, **** nash and the entire nets roster and anyone who rocks wit them. That's just how i feel.

BK is one of the five boroughs but the nets as far as I'm concerned with ALWAYS be jersey. U can't root for the nets when u watched kidd, jefferson, kittles, k-mart, van horn and co battle us year after year. Its like rooting for miami just bc they switched to bk

Besides queens all day over bk anyway

Harden has always had this game. He was playing the style that was asked of him in Houston and gave them the best shot at winning.

As in cisgemder? It means someone who has remained the gender they were identified at birth.

So the opposite of cisgender is transgender.

Cis as a prefix means same side.

Or CIS also meant Canadian University sports.

Am I missing something or did the guy who used it in the tweet use the term in the stupidest way possible?

He's a great regular season winner. He too has to show it in the playoffs but now his burden is so much lower if they can keep KD healthy for the playoffs.

TBH, I had to go look it up now.

I have no skin in the cultural debates on gender, probably because I'm off on the sidelines in cisgender mode myself. AFAIK, you can declare yourself whatever makes you feel right. And it should not affect your civil rights. I think of it as a fundamentally libertarian stance as opposed to having a strong opinion on something I don't have any intrinsic personal connection to.

per Wiki, cisgender was coined in 1998. It seems like a term that is useful for those who are actively engaged in transgender issues as a way to distinguish between sexual identification attitudes.

It does not seem like a useful term to those for whom transgender issues are not relevant or who are not experimenting with their own sexual identity.

that is not what i am asking about. i am asking what reggie bullock meant by "CiS." I know he had a trans sister who was murdered, which certainly explains why he would refer to cisgender more freely than othere. i didn't see anything in that exchange related to gender discussion, so i (like others) am wondering if i missed something.

i am glad you had an opportunity to read up on the term though.

the only thing I can think of with the Reggie tweet is the picture of the guy he was tweeting at was a pic of a kid with a cig in his mouth. I looked up CiS regarding tobacco use and there is a treatment facility but not sure that is the reference. Maybe he meant to say cig? Not sure...but the only thing I can think of is it had to do with the avatar in the picture of the kid with a cigarette.

I’m fully confident RJ will ultimately win the war between these two, and it won’t even be particularly close.
