This loss is squarely on the shoulders of Westbrook. He was absolutely atrocious in the 4th quarter. Just one mind-boggling bad shot after another. Seriously, some of the lowest bball IQ plays I have ever seen.

Unless you assume he is playing 3D chess and is actually tanking.

Neto taking the last shot was sort of a broken play. It was a pretty good shot.

The real question was why wasn't Mathews in the game for the last offensive possession.

You know what's great about this tank? It does double duty -- it gets us a high pick in a talented top of the draft (at least we hope to hell it does!), & every loss is also one step closer to Scott Brooks being out of here & being replaced by... a basketball coach.

Someone on the trade board had suggested Marcus Morris, Luke Kennard, Pat Beverly and the Clippers first for Westbrook. I would do that in a NY minute.

Yeah, it was a triple win. We lose. The team just in front of us in the standings wins. And Brooks is a step closer to being out of here.

I dunno about that. Morris and Kennard have contracts that last even longer than Westbrook's. I'd only do it if Morris could be flipped someplace else for a shorter deal - maybe a guy like Eric Bledsoe.

The key for Tankage is to keep somebody important out. So if Beal comes back, keep Rui out. Westbrook I heard has shoulder soreness as well (from hoisting so many bricks). So he should sit a few games on this trip.

Have you guys looked at the contracts of Morris and Kennard? They are paid a combined $32M a year after Westbrook's contract is over. Kennard is paid another $15M the year after that! The guy doesn't even play for the Clippers right now.
