Finch has played Dlo way more than his restriction.

Interesting note, D Lo at SG and off ball has worked today. Still gets touches on ball but he’s generally not been initiating and bringing the ball up. Allows the Wolves to be really creative with how he gets touches and the space he gets with them

Was there a definitive limit stated? I always thought it would be around 25 which is where he's at now

Pretty sure they said he has a hard cap of 12-15 minutes tonight. It was def under 25.

That might be the first time I've seen KAT smile on court all year.

They made that work first two games of season as well. Of course Beasley is gone again, so...logjam slighly relieved.

Finch is probably going to experiment hard with Dlo at the 2 and Dlo.Rubio combo. The team really wants to know if they can make that work, especially if they are looking to bring in someone like Suggs.

DLo at shooting guard is the future. That’s his best position as a combo score first guard

25 pts in 24 minutes, not 24 shots.

Very true. I wonder what that will look like. Luckily maybe we get an extended D Lo at SG run with Beasley’s injury? KAT also played a lot of PF.

What if our new needs are PG/C with Rubio expiring + Beasley + the top 3 pick as the main assets to get that.

Draft Suggs and trade Rubio + Beasley for a C?

Or

Draft Mobley and trade Rubio + Beasley for say Lowry or someone?

How would we feel about:

Suggs/D Lo/Edwards/KAT/C with J Mac/Nowell/Big Mac/Naz off the bench

Or

Lowry/D Lo/Edwards/KAT/Mobley

Could still play some lineups with Big Mac at the 4 and KAT at the 5

Well, they will get to test that theory against the next 7 teams that aren't going to roll over for Wolves before coming back to have the Kings in a back to back again.

Pacers, Celtics, Bulls, Nets, Bucs, Heat, Clippers, Kings, Kings

DLo's 2-3's at the beginning of the 4th put this game away. Way too many mistakes and poor defense by the team but happy we got the win. Like how hard is it to fix your transition defense, most of that is just running back on time.

We need a full camp with Finch and whoever he brings in as his assistants. Going to be a gameplan overhaul next season plus some probable roster moves. This is them most important off-season of Rosas career and probably will determine if Towns is a Wolf for the long haul or another star who wasted precious years here. Heck, even the future of the franchise being in Minnesota is riding heavily on what happens next season. Rosas flops, the team sucks, team gets sold, new owners want to strat fresh and find a more appealing market, RIP Wolves.

Having another legit scorer on the floor relieved a lot of the pressure on Ant/KAT. It’s the Kings so not going to get too excited, but was a fun game.

NEED to get lucky and have that 40% chance we keep our pick come through. We need another really high level guy. Whether that’s through drafting that player or using the pick in a trade.
