This is a good test for the Cs and especially Timelord. Will the defense and ball movement carry over? Or will it disappear again vs. a top team in the league?

Speaking of disappearances...

Embiid is playing. Four-day rest for the big guy coming into this game. Maxey is PROBABLE. George Hill is OUT.

Looks like Semi is back. LOL Langford back in the doghouse. Cue the "Fire Brad" chants.

No way Semi plays over Langford. Langford made two more plays in 12 minutes than Semi has in his entire career so far.

We need to find out how many more consecutive games Semi can play without registering a block. The active streak is at 51 dating back to last season. 64 if we count the playoffs.

Romeo recorded 1 block in his first game back lol.

Is Kemba sitting out the Knicks game then?

Most likely; since he doesn't do Back-to-Backs.

IT registered more blocks than Semi. It's actually impressive that a guy with a 6'10" wingspan isn't accidentally blocking a shot every handful of games. I've never seen anything like it. Yeah, it's 13 months now since his last block. Carsen Edwards has a block this year. Kemba has 9.

I'd rather he sit this one and play against NYK. Celtics aren't catching Philly, but winning head-to-head against all the other teams in that 4-9 seed range is pretty important.

Brooklyn with no Harden, Blake, DJ or KD is beating the Knicks. We should be ok without Kemba. We need him against Philly..

Have you watched the Celtics this year? They can't beat anyone with any kind of confidence and a two game winning streak against awful and injured teams doesn't really change that for me.

That's not his call. Never been. Medical stuff is for the medical staff. Same goes with other teams.

There is logic to doing this and Scal talked about it. But we are on a roll (2 games ok) there is also logic of just keeping things the same for another game.

The real question is who should start when Walker is out. Fournier if you want the best player sure. When KG was out Doc would often start Scal. Brad has been starting Semi some times. I think maybe Langfor gets the call though as he's not in the rotation yet and it could keep players minutes and times they play closer to the same.

We'd miss Kemba's points from the top of the key if he sits but defensively he'd be a very weak link as Philly is a big, strong team. I'd like to see Stevens use Kema as a decoy. Have him being chased and weaving through screens to set up other players, but settle in at the top of the key as an outlet where he's money. To compete with Philly's size advantage we really have to move the ball to get open looks and make them work. We also have to play with force, and be especially tough and physical. No easy baskets, compete for airspace, compete for rebounds, and finish at the rim with purpose. For me, the key Celtic tomorrow isn't JT or TL, but JB. If JB competes to his capabilities we can win this game. He, and everyone else, has to attack the lane and rim and play through contact. Can't wait to see how the new roster matches up. Let's go!!!

If Kemba sits, I wouldn't mind seeing Romeo as that 5th starter Stevens is apt to use. Smart has to start against Simmons, and Fournier is looking good off the bench. I'd roll with Smart, Brown, Langford, Tatum, Timelord and offset with Pritchard, Fournier, Grant, Kornet with Nesmith, Wagner and especially Tacko getting some spot minutes. Considering his familiarity with traveling and working with Embid, Tacko needs to up his intensity for this game. I think the lack of practice has hurt him the most, he has to protect the rim.

Does it really matter? Embiid dropped 42 on Trashton last go around. Timelord, Kornet, and Tacko can't do any worse

It literally says on the poster NOT to return Thompson.

Anyway, I'm sure he'll be back at some point. Just hoping he's used sparingly until we can trade him in the offseason.

Let's kick some Sixers ass

Spoiler:
If I'm being honest though, I won't be surprised if we get beaten down in this game now that Embiid's back. Though we did play them tough in the past two games, and those were with Tatum out. Maybe our guys come out to play and just rain threes on them.

His streak without registering a steal was pretty long too wasn’t it? You almost have to try not to get steals or blocks lol. At least every 5 or so games anyone can luck into them.
