I dont see that ( being the best prospect) but I also dont think there is really that much separation between him and Suggs overall as pros. Suggs is only a consistent 40% from deep at a high attempt rate away from being a stud though and Springer seems farther away than that.
I think the one is slightly overrated because of his propensity for making winning plays but is not at all a great shooter and the other is pretty underrated overall but is not any better than Suggs as is either.

The play that impressed me the most by Suggs against UCLA wasn't the game winning shot, or the clutch block late in the game. It was that long bounce pass he threaded through traffic to a streaking Timme AFTER his block on Cody Riley of UCLA. There aren't 5 guards on earth that can make that pass, at that speed, with the game hanging in the balance. The kid is special.
