But is there any realistic way we can trade for Zach Lavine?

I mean/ Kuz/Schroder/KCP + pics surely we can work something out for a shooter like Lavine?

Edit: future line up of ... C)AD PF)AD)LBJ SG)Lavine PG...?

I hope we will get a guard, who can create or shoot as we now have good depth everywhere else.

My candidates would be:
Emanuel Mudiay
Shabazz Napier
Courtney Lee
Brandon Knight

Maybe Lin or Waiters. And certainly not Thomas...

is this an April fools joke? :-?

random Q.

are you guys cool with signing Derozan next off season, if he's down to sign for cheap and play a role player role?

Oh yeah, if he’s willing to sign for the tax payers mid level, I’d certainly consider that (depending on a few other things).

Would anyone be down to give Jabari Parker a 10 day? This roster needs someone who can put the ball in the hole for the next week or so.

I was even open to having DeRozan this season. He's killing it with the Spurs right now.

We have 2 needs / holes to fill at this point

First, aside from Lebron, lakers do not really have a play maker who can connect all of our players on the offensive side. Dennis is self-centered player, a score first type of PG. He does not pass much and easily go to iso. Rondo goes to the other side of the city and we really miss a floor general or second play maker on court when Lebron is resting. I would care the team's 3point shots less with a better floor general.

Secondly, we need a bigger wing player to put on the great wings in the league e.g. PG, Kawhi, Luka, KD or even Giannis. I feel that our needs here is relatively small given that we have James, Kuzma and Wesley all being able to be put on those guys (and Davis or Drummond for KD and Giannis). Playing time available is also little unless we simply put James on the PG spot and Dennis to the back up role.

Of course, If there is one player who can tackle both problems like Iguodala or Batum, it'd be perfect. Yet, there seems have no player with such high quality left in the market. Of the players left in the market

Known for shooting, was a high draft pick by the kings.. bounced around never really established himself. Very streaky shooter. I’m not really high on him but we do need 3 pt shooting so we’ll see

Thanks but the question I have for the Lakers staff is: why not just have the current players fix their broke shots? If the Laker system breaks everyones' shots , this guy is going to become like Green as well. Without the defense.

Lakers effort on defense probably lowers 3% a little but Green has always been a much better shooter in a contract year. Probably would have been worth keeping him based on that.

How is Maclemore's defense and who do think loses minutes?

For a shooter though, his numbers don't really pop out

McLemore seems like Wes Matthews insurance to me. He is 6'3 so he is not guarding the small forwards in this league, but he is known as a gunner who isn't shy about shooting, we can definitely use that.

Ben McLemore is solid. He just never had a solid organization to help him out with this flaws. I mean he spent most of his career with the Kings...That should tell you something. As for the player, he's a good shooter, can make OPEN shots, always looks to make the extra pass, and very athletic for his size. His defense can be somewhat solid if he knows how to use his athleticism. He will outperform KCP on most nights.

Had a feeling Ben was the next target, and I'm pretty excited about what he can bring to the team. He's only 28 too, lines up with with AD's timeline.

I've watched several rocket games. Watched this guy as well. When he's on. HE IS ON. Definition of a Streak shooter. So I like that part. He has confidence in his shot, and will launch at will.
But again, well see what happens under fire. All things are tested in the playoffs. And In a Laker uniform. I've seen alot of good, quality streak shooters lose the fire when they dress up in Purple and Gold.
I'm hoping he comes in with the flames

Hopefully he knocks down shots. I would've liked to us bring in another playmaker with LeBron out. I was certainly in favor of giving Isaiah Thomas a look with a couple 10-days when LeBron went down.
