I also hope when we face teams with solid centers, Ayton attacks the rim, and gets boards. It will force teams to pack it in, leaving guys open. I like games were Ayton just goes after the ball, and doesn't need to have plays run for him, or dropping it in to get him going.
It all comes down to confidence. When he goes against guys like Valaciunas, Nurkic, Adams, Gobert etc he plays differently than he does in the last two. He has the ability to do just as well against those guys, just a matter of if he can put it together mentally.
I think tomorrow will be a great test and hopefully he has a strong game.
