Nets are going to go from a terrible team to champions in just a couple seasons. Mostly because they are in a desirable market.

Crazy to think after those Brooklyn/Boston trades that Brooklyn is probably gonna win a title before them

Evidently he is 7 foot 2 and is currently averaging 7 rebounds in 16mpg.

Didn't even get drafted, he played in the G-League.

And speaking of the G-League, the Swarm have been very mediocre for us. We don't try to find players there.

Cliffords starting lineup tonight included Michael Carter-Williams, Dwayne Bacon, James Ennis III, and Khem Birch.

I'm imagining him in the post game conference explaining to the Orlando press that hes starting the five guys that give them the best chance to win.

Edit: Will Cliff and Orlando part ways soon? I was under the impression that their front office really liked him, but its also really hard to imagine him overseeing a full on rebuild like this. I could see them mutually parting ways.

Just a very strange thing to say to your new fan base

Because of Fournier’s Gangrene but not sure he knows what that means other than the play on words...

Uhhhhh if you google it this is one of the top results is a medical journal by Hindawi titled: "Fournier's Gangrene due to Masturbation in an Otherwise Healthy Male"
It's the 3rd result thats about Fournier's Gangrene (after the wiki)

IF he is making a joke about THAT it's a pretty GOAT comment. Otherwise kinda weird and out of place

The Fournier thing has been a meme for a few years, he just owns it now. I know NBA Twitter used to call him "Never Google."

John Henson gets a 10-day contract with the Knicks...he's clearly an upgrade over Biz...

Justin Jackson waived by the Thunder. He doesn't excite me much but he'd be a decent stopgap/depth piece and is definitely better than the Martins...?

Agree, JJ isn't very exciting but would bring a little help on the wing while Hayward is out. Also, I would rather have Quinn Cook on the roster than Wanamaker.

JJ would be a decent add right now. Not great but probably better then the Martins and may still become a rotation player. I thought we should have had Henson on the team the whole year. His shot blocking is something we severely lack.

McLemore to the Lakers...

Can the little guy get anybody in today's NBA?

It seems like everyone except Charlotte is pulling in players for the stretch drive. And the Hornets need help as much as or more than LA.

If Dedmon plays ok, I will be pissed we didn’t go after him. He’s been sitting waiting all season

Also possible that we're reaching out to guys and they're saying no thanks to a middling eastern conference team and going to places like Miami and Los Angeles

Just throwing that out there

That's certainly possible...

Those players are pansies for it if true...they'd actually get rotational minutes here.

Unfortunately most modern players would rather wave towels and ring chase than actually get a chance to prove themselves on the court.

Return to Charlotte Hornets
