Embiid dropped 42 on TT and Theis. TT ain't gonna help anything.

It's time for Rob to show he can hang with the elite...

With 20+ FTs that is.
Good assessment:

This was probably a loss anyway but with Fournier somehow being in the protocol less than 48 hours since the last game this team now has an excuse I guess.

At this point with 22 games left it is clear this team is just going to hover at the 500 mark or a few games below 500 which is good enough to make the playoffs and get the sixers or nets in the first round. Not great for the team IMO but most fans will be thrilled just to see this team in the playoffs.

Jesus Christ.
We are **** cursed.
Simply unreal.

Possibly developing momentum.
Fournier playing up a storm.
Critical games today & tomorrow.

And slapped in the **** face yet AGAIN.

Could be even worse.
He apparently was “false +”, then apparently “true -“, then allowed to play for the last week.
Now perhaps his “true +” has revealed itself.
If so, he is out for awhile.

**** this.

Sucks about the Fournicator. He's been key to our good play the last few days. Hope he's not out too long. That Knicks game is important for the standings and we're gong to be without him and Kemba. Poop.

Are some of our guys idiots off the court? We keep losing players to Health and Safety protocols. Are they not taking any COVID precautions off the court?

Embiid is going to get his. Just have to limit the other players and hope Rob, Kornet, Mo, and Tacko can slow Embiid enough to win. But please let's not freak out about Embiids stat line tonight. He wrecks everyone..

As CeltsFlow mentioned, Kornet will be important tonight I think. Joel had some big games against Theis, but the thing was, Theis had some of his best offensive games against Joel too. He did a great job drawing Joel out of the paint with his shooting, and also just wearing him out over the course of a game.

So I think Kornet needs to make some 3s tonight and assume the Theis role on offense. And Roblord will assume the role of wearing him out by running hard and being super active.

I don't think anyone has been successful shutting Joel down one on one this season. So Rob needs to be solid of course, but it's going to be a matter of giving smart and decisive help when Joel is in the lane as much as anything. And hopefully we'll do a good job of getting out to the shooters when he kicks it out. And with every game it will really help if we're making shots.

We can do it!

TT is on his 4th week out. Although I think there is more to the story than what is being reported would not be surprised if Fournier is out 2 or 3 weeks.

Well I think TT must actually have the virus. Hopefully Fournier doesn't. Shrug.

Edit: Jaylen's comment makes it sound like Fournier will be out for a while. So that sucks.

Seems like he has it from the JB quote. He was already in the protocol then played a few days later. Going to assume the test finally came back positive. Tatum missed a little over 2 and a half weeks so it could be towards the end of April before he comes back.

I guess you don't listen to any sports radio where just about all the calls about the Celtics are positive and they can do no wrong. Celtics fans are hands down the easiest on their team and the fact that they made the ECF 3 out of the last 4 years gives this team a free pass for next couple of years. I also believe there are quite a few people that think this team can beat the nets in a series.

Every goddamn time we play someone good as of late someone important from our team is out. One day it’s kemba, the next day it’s jaylen, the next game it’s timelord, it can even be JT who is usually iron man, now it’s Fournier’s turn. Not to mention smart, romeo, and tt being out for significant portions of the season. **** this ****. When healthy, our main squad has looked great lately but once someone is out, the team goes out on a losing streak. I just KNEW some bs was gonna happen before the Sixers game with one of our top guys.

He has added NOTHING of value to this board for the last 13 years.
He is a perpetual NEGATIVODAMUS.
He is in his glory whenever things go south, and many of us get down.
Misery loves company.
