The contracts would be the same, pro-rated minimum contracts, whether 10-day or rest of season.

Justin Jackson was the #15 pick out of NC in 2017.

Poor shooting stats. Apparently never improved as a FRP.

Disagree on Poole, but I actually do think Austin can be valuable depth at the 1. Mannion isn't ready, Mulder is worthless and Bazemore is hot and cold. Why not take a swing?

Can honestly say I've never seen him play.

Any feedback on him?

Obviously Kerr doesn't trust Nico/Poole as the back up pg

Basically a defensive 6'3" guard that can't shoot 3's. Not really that great passing the ball either.

I trust everyone but Steph/Dray/Looney right now.

Because I believe.

In the tank.

He's waived today then has to go through waivers for 48 hours. The Warriors had to fill the 14th roster spot by today.

I recall really liking GP2 that draft year. I suppose I should be really excited, but I’m not. Maybe this means less minutes for Steph to start the tank back up.

I recall one of our resident draft “experts” being upset we didnt draft this guy. With an open roster spot, this is our chance.

Warriors sign GP2 a guy with little NBA experience, suspect shot.

Kings apparently waived or bought out Cory Joseph and he had a big game against them the other night.

Why wouldn't Warriors go for these more proven vets for the minimum?

Is it that they would cost more because of years of service in the league that their minimums would be higher than someone like GP2?

What kind of difference, maybe a couple hundred thousand? I guess multiply that by 4 for luxury tax and it's a big difference.

It is true that the salary would cost the Warriors a little more, but there is no difference in the luxury tax. For vets with over 2 years service, the cap hit is the 2 yr minimum salary, no matter how many years a player has. The purpose is to avoid just what you said, that teams would hire younger players and the old-timers would get shut out for financial reasons.
