If people start posting two new rookie of the year topics per day, they'll probably pin this again.

Top 6 guys minutes from the Thunder didnt play.

#7 in mpg is Svi, who was traded there 2 weeks ago. #8 was a 2-way, his first game for the Thunder.

Thunder squad were 8th-14th guys and a couple 2-way players, their first game on the Thunder, signed immediately before the game and presumably didnt practice yet with the team.

Pistons lost to the Knicks by 50 Hayes first game.

Dude quit Trying to hate on our own damn rookie so much. That's a awful look. Hayes played really good in his EIGHTH GAME.

No one "belongs" after beating street picks up that haven't even practiced with the team. The top 6 minutes per game guys didnt play.

Top 7 minutes guys for Pistons: Grant, Plumlee, Josh Jackson, Diallo, Corey Jospeh, Wayne Ellington, Killian Hayes.

Quit the ridiculous homer BS and I won't shoot it down. Pistons lost by 50 points against the Knicks the night before.

You just look for any chance to hate on the Pistons for literally anything (you and about two other posters are infamous for this non sense).

Who goes hunting for threads to trash their own rookie after playing good in his 9th game? You try to hard to hate bro. It's gonna be a long rebuild with a few of you.

I was in here to vote for Bey and Stewart. Stewart should be on that list.

Im not homer screaming how awesome a rookie PG is that beats guys who barely made G-league teams.

You cant handle any criticism, even of the worst guys on the team. I have a friend like that about his dog. Its not any better with random guys you've never met on sports teams.

Chuma will knock someone out of the first team all rookie before the years out. He's averaging around 16 ppg., 6 rpg, 3 apg., over the last 7 games. Shooting like 52.5/46.7/93.2.

No it would be like the avg Dog doing a new trick and in the moment you talk **** about him. It was finally a good game and you instantly felt the need to bring up other games.

That's all it was brother and nothing more. You trying to raise the bar to people saying he's a star now or something is on you.

You just don't like to see anything positive out of him cause you've already talked too much trash is all I can figure

I still think Okoro will be a top player from this draft in a few years but obviously he's very raw but starting to look much better offensively esp that Love is back in the lineup. Okoro has strung a few double digit scoring games in a row and is starting to hit 3's. Even Jimmy Butler who isn't known to tolerate young players had a bunch of complimentary things to say about Okoro the other night.

Okongwu had 13/11 and 2 blocks in his first start of the season. The rookie looks more like a keeper every next game he plays.

Was very high on Okongwu as the #1 pick for the Wolves. Glad he's playing well after his injury

Hoping to see both of them continue this level of play and wishing they have an all-star caliber trajectory :D . On a side note, you from Indo?

Yes. Sudah tua, have been watching NBA from peak Julius Erving Moses Malone Sixers, and the great Lakers Celtics rivalry.

Another non-disaster Killian outing. Maybe he learned something during his injury. Looks like a NBA player now. Good to see.

What's up with Haliburton? Why is he off the starting unit? Defensive struggles or the bench lacks offense? I guess both. Man the Kings have been struggling lately.

Hayes looked great last night. Got the best of Haliburton too. That had to feel good.

His game has really come along. He adjusted to the speed of the NBA. On offense, he’s learned his floater is his best tool at the moment. His dribble has improved since before being hurt. He can get anywhere he wants when penetrating. His step back three is nice. He is hands down the best passing guard out of the rookies.

He is a pure point guard and by the end of the year, he will have shown enough that I think NBA fans will believe in him.

He has a really pretty game right now. He’s a good defender too. Funny thing is - most NBA fans have defended him when people were calling him a bust after 7 games. It’s actually been a handful of Pistons fans throwing that out there. Pretty shameful to be honest.

You’d think the fans would support their 19 year old rookie, instead of turning on him after 2 weeks to start the year.

I was proud of him last night. Also, super excited about his future. He is really good
