Joel getting as many free throws this game as Jokic in his last 6 combined

I wonder if the refs will keep giving Joel these calls in the playoffs. He def needs them based on his playoff career

To put the FT thing into perspective.

Embiid is averaging 11.6 FT attempts per game.

Jokic has had only 6 games with at least 10 FT attempts. Only has had 2 games with 12 or more (12 and 14 are his two highs on the year).

Embiid almost averages 12 a game, Jokic has only gotten than many twice.

That is just crazy to think about.

Yup. Jokic simply dominating. Imagine jokic sat 20 games like embiid. Nuggets would be toast.

Embiid sitting 10 games did not hurt 76ers a bit should also strengthen Jokic's case.

Jokic had a terrible week last week, if you take his season numbers into consideration. I will not put it past Jo to get back into this thing.

Are you watching games? He is integrating a new piece into starting lineup while blowing other teams away in 3 quarters. Give me some terrible weeks...

Define "terrible"...

17/9/9, while going 3-0 including wins vs Philly and Clippers. If you feel that's terrible for him, that should tell you something.

It's a hilarious argument

Since Aaron Gordon has joined, Nikola Jokic is putting up:

19 ppg, 8.8 rpg, 9.4 apg
57/43/77 shooting splits
Nuggets went 5-0 in that period and he was legitimately doing this in three quarters as we are blowing teams out.

I mean it's down from his 26/10/9 season averages but are we legitimately measuring him against himself?

Curry is the difference between 50 blow out and a win against a top team in the East . That is all

Embiid could outscore Jokic by just hitting all free throws tonight...

Those are definitely not MVP numbers for a week. Compared to the 29/11/9 he was averaging before that.

And the Nuggets have had the #1 offense in the last 5 games and Jokic is the only all star on his team unlike Embiid.

A "slow" 19/9/9 week while going 5-0 is still more valuable than a week missed due to injury in my humble opinion

Yah he has surpassed Dirk in RS. No doubt.
You can't defend that.

Definelty looks like tougher shot . See how does in the playoffs, better RS than dirks mvp season ?

Offensively? Yes Jokics offensive seasons is up their with the greatest of all time. It’s out of control.
He’s already gone bananas in each playoff run so far.
His peak isn’t too far off either (next year I reckon).

First seasons of fully conditioned Jokic/Embiid has been scary this year.

Now for bulky marathon Doncic and the league is done for lol.

Surprised people mentioned Embiid I go for the sixers and I don’t even have him top 4 lol.

Do you how insane of a season you have to have while missing 18 games already? If he put up Wilt numbers yeah sure. But Jokic has had a better impact anyway (offensively it’s absurd) and Embiid isn’t anywhere near 36% better value wise not a chance in the world. In fact part of being valuable is being available.
