The Lavine-Markannen wars aren’t over?

Haha will they ever truely be...

When Markannen is traded or signs elsewhere and has a good game the Markannites will make an appearance...

Much like the Wendell Cartels Jr do now... But they are such a fringe faction they don't really make a noise.

I think it’s otherway around. If Lauri has even 1 bad game in first games in the new team then ”Bulls” fans will flood other forum and tell ”see how damn bad he is”. Same with WCJ now. Lot’s of ”Bulls” fans in some WCJ topics just there to say how bad he really is and first games were fluke.

Good win.Lauri is playing better with Vucevic,if he can improve his game to the end of this season it may be a case of extending him.
We still need a starting level pg but the team is clearly improving . We're going to the playoffs.

Good. We don’t need to be bothering fans on their own boards with negative comments.

Also, that’s kind of the purpose of the general board.

It's nice to see Troy Brown Jr. finally in the rotation. Hopefully the Bulls commit to developing him. Lauri had another really good game as usual. We're going to need him if we want to get anywhere in the playoffs. Hopefully Lavine just needs more time to heel. I'm going to stay optimistic. Much better rotations the last two games, but those first four games were atrocious.

I like Troy, but I liked Nwaba and Shaq Harrison too. The odds are pretty low that he will become a significantly different and better player than either of them. Troy has never been able to score well, not even in college. Barring a minor miracle, he will be a late-rotation defensive specialist.

If TBJ is played as your standard wing, then he's going to be a rotation player, but the main point of difference for me is he can be a secondary initiator or even big PG. The man can both handle and pass, and it's a role he's never been able to completely explore at the NBA level.

Obviously the shooting development is a big one.. he's not quite there, yet, but the form isn't as bad as someone like a Nwaba or Shaq Harrison. I would argue both those guys were better defenders, because they were more elite athletes, but they were far less well rounded as overall basketball players.

It seems to me every year that stars play fewer games. It's not at all unusual to play teams that are missing two of their three best players. So in that sense, I will count these as real victories, because such is the modern NBA.
Exactly. No one us playing at full strength. Especially in a Covid season.

Still a golf clap. Beating teams missing their best players isn't some sort of amazing feat. If this team makes the playoffs, they can't count on their opponents top guys being out in order to advance. At some point they're gonna have to start beating real teams that aren't missing their best players

I think Troy is a whole nuther level than Shaq or Nwabe, both of whom I also liked. Troy, I think, has the possibility of being a top 6 or 7 player on a good team. I was a fan of his coming out of college (got to see him in person a few times) and still think he has decent upside potential.

Or I could be dead wrong.
