He is 6'6-1/2 without shoes when we drafted him right? So 6'7 without shoes if we follow how the NBA rounds off the number. 6'8 with shoes. Normally in the modern NBA that's probably the lower end modern height of a PF. So unless he grows 1.5 inches, loses 10 lbs of fat and gains 15 lbs of muscle ( lol is it the annual offseason thread already?) We better off him being a SF.

Yup, WCJ as a C is fine, Okeke at the PF isnt. But as someone said, we are getting back JI next season so we won't be bullied in the boards anymore.

He is 6'2'' with shoes.

SMH, where would Chuma be on this list if we had moved AG before the season?

Chuma Okeke is starting to turn a lot of heads around. High IQ, two way player, and then being 6'6 or 6'7 with a 7 ft wingspan is letting him take any kind of shot he wants. I am glad I waited to judge him, and every game he looks more and more like a draft steal!

Just checked the pregame log,
Chuma Okeke is now 6ft 5in. Look on the bright side by next year Chuma will be 6ft 3 and we will finally have our PG of the future !!!

Weltham is light years ahead of the game !

Ah of course, i say somebody sucks, he has great games, i say somebody turns his career around and he goes to average 10 points on 12 shots and 11% for 3 in next 5 games.
Maybe this will wake him up again: Okeke sucks.

Joke aside, he probably will never be high usage player.

Watching him play it doesnt look like he cant score but that he wants to get his teammates involved.
When you play with Bacon, Anthony, Ross you wont get many looks unless you force it.
He is a rookie, he makes good basketball plays, usage will come with time. Cade or Suggs would help a lot, even Barnes or Giddey.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

I would like Clifford to let him initiate offense more often from the elbows and midpost.

This might be LMAO worthy but has anyone else thought that maybe we should play him like LBJ?

SF position but with ballhandlers and 3pt shooting around him. Like early LBJ he initiates the offense because he can shoot the 3s if his opponents backs up on him, and as can be seen, he drives not only with speed but with footwork as well. And if someone smaller guards him, he also backs them down. This is not to mention his excellent court vision and passing ability.

Now before certain posters gang up on me with my presumption that Okeke is the next LBJ, Im talking about using him like how the early Cavs used LBJ.
