Curry's driving game is also beautiful. Underrated part of his game.

I find the skill needed to create clean looks in such tight contested spaces fantastic to watch.

Watching Timme in the NCAA’s reminded me what a lost art the post game has become.

That said, I think Timme will have a lot of problems having a successful post game like that at the next level. He needs to get a lot stronger and the defenders will be longer, stronger and more athletic.

Dream Shake, McHale’s Up and Under, Kareem’s Skyhook are all glaring omissions IMO

I was always partial to Jamal Crawford’s Shake and Bake too. Tim Hardaway’s UTEP two step. The Shammgod also.

I gotta add George Gervin finger roll too and Vince Carter’s windmill lol

Dope animations btw

Just haven’t seen one in a long time.

Jordan's fadeaway was always a pretty move. Kareem's Skyhook also ranks highly, particularly when executed a fair distance from the basket. I'm also particularly fond of the up-and-under reverse layup - most commonly associated with Jordan but it looks great no matter who pulls it off.

Magic Johnson’s ”Thor’s hammer” right-handed bullet passes through defenses: with or without the bounce.

The most beautiful from the list is 2) Step back 3 ala Harden and Luka
But the most amazing, unique, akward and hard move today is The Sombor Shuffle.

Post where the gifs are from OP.

I like good up and unders, myself. But i also like pass fakes that clear a defender out of the way for a layup.

The Bank Shot by Tim Duncan. One of the most beautiful and effective, but least used shot in the NBA. The accuracy rate is much higher than any fancy shot and it's the most basic in terms of mechanics. It's still a mystery to me as to why players don't abuse this technique.

As a right hander, I can get get 10 out of 10 in the left elbow, by simply mastering this shot, and I am no professional.

Jordan's fadeaway is a masterpiece to watch, though the bank shot reminds me of a "magician" in the pool table.

Hakeem Dream Shake 1st

Wtf Wade Layup 2nd

Dirk/Jokic Slowmo Fadeway 3rd

A Dozen or so MJ moves 4th

TMac having a game 5th

HM TJ McConnell’s baby jumper into full court press into useless deflection followed by a hair/fringe adjustment is a nice combo imo.

Mark Jackson in the post. Kidding.

Nothing specific but the way steve nash played offense in his prime was pretty great to watch.

Not a move but loved when MJ held the ball out like this. He had the posture of a god
