The writers are no brighter than anyone else, no less apt to go with the most recent hyped players. It's just a talking piece they do for their job and it feeds sports talkers everywhere. Ball was having a nice rookie campaign, but putting him 3rd overall is absurd. Edwards was in the process of catching him in ROTY race. I agree with KAT who said Ant will win ROTY and has proved his was the best of the best in his draft class.
No way in hell is Lamelo better or projecting to be better than Trae Young. That literally blew my mind. Young is averaging 28 ppg & 9.5 apg since the halfway point of his rookie year but he is 16th on that list. Complete garbage
