Heat just signed Dedmon. We are so bad at this. Everyone hates Philly.

Morey must have word that someone is getting bought out soon . There is no way they can feel good about the C/Pf position going into the playoffs.

It would be funny if that happened. It's like we only do business with OKC now.mithrandir17 wrote:How about muscala? Will okc buy him out?

Well, they already got so many draft picks from us. Muscala can be the free gift when you already paid so much in one store.

Are we really sure Muscala is better than Scott? I mean, Scott is bad... but so was Muscala when he was in Philly.

Muscala is averaging almost 10 points and 37% from 3point in the same amount of minutes as Mike Scott is getting. Plus Muscala can really play Center and PF unlike Scott who is already undersized as a PF.

I agree 100%. I would take Muscala in a heartbeat. Better than Mike Scott as a PF and C. Also, the market seems to have dried up.mithrandir17 wrote:the_process wrote:Are we really sure Muscala is better than Scott? I mean, Scott is bad... but so was Muscala when he was in Philly.

I mean, okay... but do we remember how bad he was defensively? I’m willing to take the chance should OKC decide to let him go, which seems unlikely btw, because Scott does suck. I would just temper the expectation Muscala is going to be an improvement.

Defensively atleast Muscala has the height and length over Scott. We don't really need a player who can do it all on both ends. What we need right now is a servicable backup who can play both 4 and 5 and be able to shoot it decently from 3. We have enough guys who can cover the defense. If they can cover for Scott now, they can cover for Muscala.

Re: Unsigned Free agents
Signing Muscala would be a no brainer if he comes available. He's a more credible option as a stretch-5 to play w/Ben when Jo is out than Mike Scott is.

Re: Unsigned Free agents
Mike Muscala is no better than Mike Scott. Especially not in any playoff game. I wouldn't waste the energy it took to dial a phone, to pick him up.

Actually if you ask me which Center I want for my perfect championship caliber team, I will chose Asik hands down

I dont even know whats the difference between Muscala and mike scott.
There’s never been a time in history when we look back and say that the people who were censoring free speech were the good guys.

I assume this means they're signing someone by tomorrow. We'll see what pick up from the trash heap.

I dunno, Mike Scott has been pretty terrible since getting that deal he's on now.
Muscala isn't great, but he fits what we need as an option at the 5. He's a willing and able shooter that provides some semblance of rim protection.
