It’s possible. On defense though he gets pushed around like he’s nothing. He needs to add a bunch of weight. Or he will just be a one sided player.

I will say that cheering for someone like Pokusevski is definitely exciting. He is not even 20 years old yet, he has a great combination of size/length/athleticism and he is obviously a talented player with the ball in his hands.

Will he put it all together? I have no idea but I wish him all the best. It's going to be fun to watch him regardless :D

Getting stronger is going to be a key for him, if he's able to add some quality mass, watch out league, with the ball handling he posses, he could accomplish a lot.

I have a hard time believing he can put weight on his frame. He’s got the same frame that Shawn Bradley had, and they tried like hell to bulk him up and failed.

I still remember someone posting a thread about a 6-11 point guard playing in Summer league years back. That player ended up being Giannis so anything is possible OP

Nah, look at his legs, they're thick and muscular.
His lower body gives you hope that he will fill out a bit

The crazy thing to think about is that the Mavericks were trying to trade up to pick him, but failed to do so. Imagine him and Luka in a few years.

His handle for his size is shocking, he moves around on the court like a wing, but he's a legitimate 7 footer.

It's kind of like rookie year Giannis watching him, there's something special there if he works on his body.

And that's what's exciting about him. Yes, he is a 7 footer but he moves and plays much more like a big wing than a big. He is closer to someone like Ingram than he is to someone like Mitchell Robinson.

Poku is the man. Youngest player in the NBA right? To see how far he’s come even the last few weeks is absurd

I love the guy but tbh he's a fake 7 footer cause of his giraffe like neck. Functionally he's closer to 6'10 than 7'

Was gonna argue this, but his wingspan (7’3) and standing reach (9’2) fall in line with 6’10 dudes.

You gotta take into consideration that having your eyes higher can be very helpful. Allows Jokic to see over his defenders for easy assists.

Never doubted him. Still think he can be the best player from this draft. He has some tools that, for his size, are just absolutley absurd consitering his age. His handle at 19 is better than 99% of players his size. Thats just not normal.

Watched him for the first time when we played the other night. Was not expecting that type of ball handling. Really gotta get that weight up though.

Things he can do court sometimes are absolutely ridiculous for player of his size and seems he has mentality to be great player. He doesnt shy from contact, doesnt back down and is aggressive to be a man on court. There are too many passive, Ill say 7 footers in NBA who I beg each single f night to use their size and skill to their advantage for 3 years.

To a point where after trade All-Star guard on roster is happy to announce he finally has capable big man to play in PnR.
