Why don't guys fight anymore?

So many fake tough guys in here... Most of you advocating for biffs in games probably have never had a punch thrown at you in your life - Fight when you HAVE to, not over a **** game.

In the 80's & 90's there were tons of on court fights. What happened? Are guys just too soft nowadays? Could you imagine Twitter if guys still fought. Hell, the Embiid KAT air boxing fight a few years back was huge and nothing really happened. Would it behoove the NBA to encourage guys to brawl a bit for entertainment purposes?

They are all millennials ad gen z after all. The vast majority were all taught not to fight growing up, not to bully, schools stopPed tolerating fights etc., and I wonder if most have probably never fought. People are just raised very differently you ask me.

Not sure the one game suspension is any different than it ever was. But I can say I have not seen a punch actually landed by an nba player in years unless it was a sucker punch.

Look at the reactions these days, look at the three below.... it’s not even considered. It’s a huge difference. And it was a cultural change.

Bullying - no. Fighting - absolutely yes. Boys who are growing up being scared of punching someone and were never hit in the face... well... they turn out to be what modern society wants them to be, but definitely not what men should turn into when they grow up.

Nah. The dudes calling world class professional athletes soft, weak, etc, on an internet forum for not getting into fights over a game are all uber badasses and everyone reading this thread thinks they are super cool and tough.
