The Wiz are f’ed either way.
Lose out and win the lottery and pick who with the first pick? Another guard? Isn’t the guard from USC projected to be the best player available? The Wiz need a generational player, preferably a big. I’m not sure that player exists in the next draft.

Mobley from USC is a center. Cade Cunningham from Oklahoma State is a 6-8 point guard who could be the top pick.

As for players tanking, that's ridiculous. Organizations do. A lot of these players on these crap teams are playing for jobs or starting roles on next year's team. So by them playing like garbage, may help the team, but not them as individuals.

What I would rather see is the Wizards to Come Away with guys who I know can play and trade for people like Mo Bamba who are ready to Showcase their actual skill set. Why this particular translator is capitalizing the wrong words I have no idea but this galaxy A7 is not as stupid as my iPhone

Meanwhile, Russ must have read the Board, because he is having an absolutely amazing game!

K. Was thinking Cunningham than as the projected number one selection. The Wiz don’t need a guard. Seems Mobley would help. However, at this rate the Wiz are probably going to win enough to keep them out of the Mobley sweepstakes.

Thank you for explaining that to us

And Cunningham is not a point guard, he’s a wing. Any of the top picks would drastically help the wizards.

So Russ took only 11 shots and deni scored 16?

First of all, why is Beal even playing or should at least be on a minutes restriction.

Impeccable defensive sequence by Rui in the 4th. Stonewalls Ross in isolation forcing a pass out, then switches onto Hampton and forces another pass out. He leads the Wizards in stopping dribble penetration. Guarded Cole Anthony down the stretch too.

If Bertans finishes the season like this, his trade value will be sky high once a few teams shoot themselves out of the playoffs. Knicks, Jazz, Sixers. I doubt Sheppard would do it though.

Ernie Brownfield left the Wizards a toxic wasteland.

Otto stresses me out. Such a talented player but injury prone. SMH.

I'm just catching a replay of the game now. Man, the Wizards' defense has been atrocious in the first half! Orlando has no notable scorers but they still scored 60.

Bamba's made 5 of 6 3's in his last 2 games. Looks like it's too late to steal him.

Yeah, we needed to make that trade at the beginning of the season. Brown, Bonga + ? before we tanked the trade value of Brown/Bonga.

I think Bamba is going to be very good...
