What's your big board for the Pistons going into the draft?

Cade is number one for me and Suggs is a definite number 5 for me. I struggle with the in between.

With Suggs I like him but I worry about a ceiling for a point guard who isn't a shooter in today's NBA.

I haven't necessarily seen enough of the others to really feel qualified to rank them. I lean against big guys though.

It's Cade and the next tier IMO.

But even then, you could make some case that Green is closer than expected. But I think I'm out on Mobley, I just don't see how he can thrive in this small forward and guard league.

Drafting a guard who can’t shoot 30 percent from three is asking for trouble.

My list:

Cade
Mobley
Green
Suggs

The rest

Mobley needs a nutritionist and a trainer so he doesn’t get snapped in half, but he’s a potential game changer - he could cause a lot of matchup problems.

The obvious, that said I'm thinking Weaver won't settle for 1 1st rounder, I expect he will use those 2nd rounders and attractive moveable contracts to get back into the mid first round.

Tier 1
Cunningham/Mobley/Green

Tier 2
Suggs/Kuminga.

Given today’s NBA just give me a guy who can hit a jumper, take it to the rack and finish or has a great post game. Defensive “glue” guys can be picked up in free agency.

1.)Green. Pure scoring machine and I believe is a perfect fit next to Hayes.

2.)Cade. Two playmaker on the floor is never a bad thing.
3.)Suggs. Big time performer, seems to have that killer will to win.

4.)Mobley. If I'm honest, I don't want Mobley in any situation, and would rather have anyone else at this point. How many game changing centers have been picked in the past 20 years? This is a guards league, period.

5.)Kuminga. Would be unhappy if the Pistons are drafting this low.

1. Cade

3. Suggs
4. Mobley
5. Kuminga

Cade is on another level, but I think all 5 will be really good. We should pick BPA, we don’t have anyone where fit is important.

1a. Green
1b. Cade
1c. Suggs
4. Mobley

Changes daily. But I think Suggs is actually my #1. Just seems like he can control a game like a young Chris Paul. Intangibles are off the charts imo. But I'm going to make my picks assuming most of you Hayes haters eating crow.

I like Green as the best fit next to Hayes. I just want a guy who can get buckets. We need that so damn bad.

Cade I just question the athleticism at the next level. But his height/playmaking/scoring is awful nice.

Suggs. Like I said he's going #1 imo. But out of the top 4 he's the toughest fit.

Mobley would be a game changer if he pans out. I don't think the Anthony Davis comparisons are fair. I dont see that even a little bit. But a PF/C that can stretch the floor/defend would do wonders for this team.

I have hope for Killian Hayes, but he categorically has not earned the level of importance that means we need to use "fit with him" as a factor in how to use a top 5 lottery pick.

It's really strange seeing people take that attitude here.

Not sure why, but to me Green feels like he has a chance to be the better player. He has the higher ceiling.

Cade is like a guaranteed 20 a night type player so him going #1 makes a ton of sense. You're at worst case scenario getting a 6'8" guard that can shoot it from 40% from downtime and can also create his shot for himself.

Cade is almost guaranteed to be at least a Glen Robinson type player scoring the ball, but it does feel like he doesn't have the athleticism to be a great two way player and I think Green can be.

Then again, I hate to look at athleticism as a reason to pass on some guys because look what Luka and Jokic have been doing, and both of them had knocks on their athleticism before the draft as well.

Yeah, if you believe that then that's fine.

I was just objecting to people putting Green ahead of Cade because he fits better with Hayes.

He really doesn't change anything as all of Cade, Suggs and Green can play on or off while just helping with the ball handling duties.

Suggs it's probably not preferred given his size but he does play off ball alot for Gonzaga.

Hayes seems like the most worthless off ball of them all given he seems to be very pass first

Ya didn't mean to imply that. I like Green the most in this draft.

That's why I put assuming Hayes shows more lol.

Green/Cade
Cade/Green (still undecided)
Mobley
Suggs
Kuminga

We really need one of our lottery balls selected. Any of those top three make me happy.

Agree with the 'Hayes hasn't done anything yet to be concerned with building around him' opinion.

I will say that against the absolutely terrible opposition that was OKC that he actually looked comfortable out there. That's really the first time I have seen that so it was encouraging.
