On the bright side they got us taking Ayo with the Mavs pick

What’s your thoughts on Barnes as a prospect overall? I’m not really a fan.

My prediction is we find a way to end with Scottie Barnes and BJ Boston.
BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

Bench: Leonard Miller, Jett Howard, Markquis Nowell, Kennedy Chandler, Day'Ron Sharpe

i think i posted about him yesterday or the day before. but im not really a fan of him as well. his upside really depends on if he can shoot and improving his handle. he's like a poor mans iguodala/draymond green. he isn't what we need at all imo

If he flashed any scoring ability in college I’d be more optimistic about his upside but most of his points come from straight line attacks on the rim. Or at least if he hit a couple off the dribble jumpers. It’s a lot to expect from any prospect to build an entire offensive game during a rookie contract. Johnnie Bryant is supposed to be a wing whisperer but this would be a ton of work.

yeah, I just don't think shooting is a priority for this team, I don't think they care. they'd draft someone with a defensive reputation over a shooter

in hindsight now that RJ can shoot 38% from 3 I guess Okoro would have been a pretty good pick

I really like Mitchell but is really too 10 good? I’m kinda surprised about how much he’s risen cuz he’s on the older side and not a real explosive scorer. He only had 5 games scoring 20 or more points. He’s good but I can def see him being more of an Eric Bledsoe or Marcus smart and not a Spida Mitch

I just saw that Davion Mitchell will be 23 before next season even starts. I'll pass

thankfully we won't be picking in the top 10

You're underselling him. If there wasn't the fantastic five in this draft (all potential stars), he would be in consideration for the number 1 pick. If this was last year, same thing. He would have been in the conversation for the #1 pick.

Kid has a ton of talent and upside. He needs to work on his jumper, but so did RJ and Jaylen Brown. He's 19 and has good form. Just give him some time.

if the wizards get the #1 pick we should aggressively trade for it

there is no one on the roster with any combination of picks that could get us the #1 pick in this draft.
