Yeah Washington is really easy but they need Beal back ASAP...they are already bad enough with him so without him.... :banghead:

Hachimura injured as well. Doesn't help.

I hope SGA doesn't play anymore this season but I think they will play him. Well it sucks that he only played 35 games this season but I don't think +/-15 more games will change that much for his development.

We are tied with the 7th worst record and we have a legit chance for the 6th worst record...which would give us a little bit less than 40% at a top 4 pick (and to get a better pick in worst case scenario, which could be helpful if we don't get lucky)

I don’t remember if it was this thread, but I wondered whether the coaching staff would work with Poku on changing his shot mechanics in the offseason. Welp, they already did. His release point used to be lower and way in front of his body. Now it’s higher and in front of his head.

So yeah. Thats a big thing for a 7 footer. It’s allowed him to slow down a tad while while making his shot harder to block. Seems to have improved the arc, too.

Mid-damn-season.

I knew I wasn't imagining that. Still feel like the base isn't great. He does that sort of full body dry heave movement that lots of streaky shooters do. Almost looks like he is recruiting his abs to get enough momentum to fling it.

Yup, he still brings it down to his waist when he catches it which takes time. He’s gotta get stronger.

I'm still far from thinking that Poku is a lock to become a very good NBA player (I'm skeptical about his ability to stay healthy) but now I can see why Presti decided to trade two FRPs to gamble on him...his ceiling is indeed pretty high.

I’ll be irrationally excited to see what he looks like with a full off season of work and strength training.

Read on Twitter

Useful tool to see what our odds look like at Top 1/Top 5 factoring in all possibilities of our picks. This assumes we finish in 7th it looks like? But finishing at 5th or 6th worst seems most likely

Gaby Deck signed to a 3 year deal, 6-7 SF/PF, strong, physical, smart, great in transition, limited scorer in the halfcourt but aggressive, team player, can hit corner 3s, kinda ideal modern front court guy

Why would you sign a 26 year old that is a complimentary piece if you are taking the long road to a rebuild?

I guess I’m trying to ask if we should/could draw any insight as to what’s next for OKC from something like this

They need some dudes that aren’t straight from the womb so it’s not like a kindergarten class.

Got strong andres nocioni vibes from his highlights:

Did you see the barely missed dunk where he took off from a few feet from the free throw line and tried to dunk over a dude? It was shocking and VERY close to going in. And I think it clanked off the back iron, not the front. I didn’t think he had that in him.

Seems like Presti wants to go for the play-in tournament next season and is collecting role players for this.

Next 2 years unguaranteed ? I guess we want to be sure we are tanking this season and if he pays off that’s another Kenrich like contract .

Would have preferred a 21 years old player to take a chance on though.

Garuba is on his current team though ...

I know some don’t think they’ll be in the running for the playoffs next year, but I think they absolutely can if that’s the goal. Just don’t know if that’s what they want. One consideration is that I think Atlanta gets the first round pick if OKC makes the playoffs.

The fact that this leaks to the internet is amazing.

Read on Twitter

Between this and Deck, I’m very curious what the roster is going to look like next year. We already seem to be running out of spots factoring in the number of draft picks
