I’d be all for it!
Cut Carsen. Sign Jabari with the idea that he hopefully takes Semi’s minutes (if not Grant Williamses). Jabari is like Aaron Gordon without the defense, athleticism, and 3 pt shooting. Which I know sounds bad, but for free? I’d do it! Check out this video, lots of good finishes, plus by my count FIVE good passes, which is at least a few more than I was expecting:

Looks solid. And only 26.

I don't get it. Why has he only played in 3 games this year and averaged only 9 mins a game on a bad Kings team that's only 22-27?

Because the Kings have All-NBA candidate Harrison Barnes in front of him, I believe.

Low risk, possible reward. I’d roll those dice for Edwards’ spot, easily.

Agreed.

The 4 spot is a weakness for us. Like you said, low risk, high reward. He could end up being a really solid 4 man off the bench instead of Grant/Semi.

Either Otter Porter or Parker seem like decent pickups. It seems like Porter might stay in Orlando rest of the season. So why not pick up Parker and drop Edwards?

The 3 guys I'd like to see waived during the offseason are Edwards, Semi and Grant. They're just dead weight taking up roster spots. Grant at least might have some trade value since he's gotten more playing time than the other 2 over the past 2 years and was a 1st round pick just 2 years ago. But I don't want to see any of them on the roster come next season.

Porter and parker at least could give you something. You pick one of them up, and you can always waive them in offseason if it doesn't work out. But Porter could be a solid 3 and d man off the bench and parker could be a solid 4 off the bench.

Jabari wouldn't play over Tacko let alone Semi. Brad his guys. I mean hell before the contact tracing stuff we sat on here for a couple of games bitching about Fourniers usage. Carsen Edwards seems like he might be a Brad guy.

I remember these vids from all those years ago!
How Parker was going to make Chicago proud and vice versa. Now I don’t even remember where he went to college. A year at Duke? Probably injured?

I’d take him. I don’t feel the need to keep our 5’11” SG.

It wasn't really that long ago, it's a shame really. Sort of like Brandon Roy, Derrick Rose and others whose potential were robbed too soon by injuries.

But speaking of Rose, it was interesting to see him and other reclamation projects on the Knicks. It doesn't seem to be in Danny/Brad's MO now, but I'd like to see them take a shot with Parker. What's there to lose? Carsen?

Having a vet with some size to come in and give the Jays a breather would be welcome. I doubt Parker would be a malcontent at this point. He's better offensively than Semi. Would be a different position than Fournier. And we're not going to see much Nesmith so I'd give Parker a spin if Sacto lets him go.

The guy seems destined to be a Celtic at least once before he retires.

Not gonna lie - I thought Jabari Parker was going to be the Paul Pierce to Andrew Wiggins’ VC in that draft. Oops

Jabari is worth bringing in ....he was a super-prospect, has great size and has had nba success. He would be a wingbig for us. The only real downside is if he cuts too heavily into Romeo's development; which he shouldn't, as he would fill more of a Grant Semi mins

love JPs size and game ! LDS kid might turn it around for Danny :onfire:

Haven't multiple not-good teams tried the "take a chance on Jabari" thing to no avail?
I'm good without him.

Really? We are discussing Jabari "they don't pay me to play defense" Parker?

His game is useless anyway. A non-shooting, no defense forward? Plus how many knee surgeries has he had?
