Some first half Rondo

He can do what no point guard on the clippers can do and that’s run offense. Post entry pass, corner 3 open man, seems like basics but 90% of players can’t and won’t do it

Very excited to see over the coming weeks how Rondo improves the flow of our offense!

He was rusty and unfamiliar with his new teammates but I kind of see where he's going to help the team -up-tempo pace, less ball handling from PG & Kawhi- and I like it.

Under rated pick up.

He ll up his game in the playoffs and make up for PG and his built in excuse toe injury

I would temper expectations. We didn't get an all-star playmaker. We got a 35 year old Rajon Rondo who has been hardly seeing the floor with a .500 team this season, and who has been shooting 41% from the field since 2016. He is NOT the 2008-2014 Rondo.

He is a good pick-up, we needed a point guard, but twitter needs to stop acting like we added Luka or Kyrie.

Did anyone stop to consider if the reason Rondo saw limited playing time had anything to do with Trae Young being the starter and getting the vast majority of the work? Maybe Rondo's role was primarily to mentor Trae since Trae only got to work with a veteran PG for 25 games in his 1st 2 seasons in the NBA and never had a veteran PG in either of his prior training camps. Teague was brought in last year for 25 games before the league shut-down.

No ever said they expect Rondo to be a superstar but Rondo was the third best player for the Lakers for the playoffs last year.

Defense, making easy plays for his teammates and leading by example. This is what the clippers need.

If they had Rondo last year, no way in hell do they blow a 3-1 lead to Denver.

This clippers offense is just completely different this year with Rondo. Guys are cutting harder and running harder because he will find them.

15 points, 9 assists and 3 rebounds in 19 minutes.

Rondo was a +23.

Nobody on the Clippers can do this! The fact that both the main guys Kawhi and PG trust him plus Ty Lue. It’s a new era for the Clips.

Pat bev needs to stay on the bench. Rondo to start and close games.

We gotta keep this guy healthy. The difference he makes in big games is astronomical.

Playoff Rondo was like Jason Kidd out there, he legit controlled the whole game and tempo of the team.
