Just checked the Bulls and Raptors score and it says PPD. I know the Raptors only had 8 players, maybe one got injured.

I dunno but wasnt AG out for almost 2-3 weeks when he got hit and went to that protocol the league mandated for everyone?
I thought it was only a couple games.

I think its more of the number of days rather than number of games that the league counts?

Hoping the Pistons wins tonight, I think we can still overtake them for 3rd worst record. Will only be a game back with a win from them tonight.

Bulls game looks over already. Cavs vs Thunder doesn’t really matter which of them win. Might prefer the Thunder winning though since they’re putting extra effort into tanking

Boucher played center and was matched up against Vuc, he had 38 pts., and 19 rebs. Vuc did have 22 pts., tho.

I don't think it's going to be possible to beat OKC's tank. They literally did not play a single person over 23 today and started two raw 19-year-olds and another rookie. The lineup they strutted out against the Cavs today is pure comedy.

They're not even hiding it, or remotely trying to win games. I'd be shocked if we finished ahead of them.

not too worried about okc... as long as we maintain 2-3-4 spots im confident we can be in the top 5

Yea they have the worst lineup since the Process Sixers out there in the moment. Maybe even worse. Presti does everything all or nothing
If nobody comes back they win maybe 1 game.

Positive is that Houston & Cleveland have all there vets back & even play them. Detroit looks good too. Win against a healthy Sac team without Grant. They are 4-6 in there last 10. Minnesota got Russell back.

With Birch being waved, Cole & Hampton getting big playing time, my trust in the tank is back at an all time high.
We have now 3 bigs (2 injury phrone) for 2 positions (1 heavily undersized). We gonna get outrebounded & outmuscled for the rest of the season & we have 2 bad defenders getting heavy minutes @ 1 & 2 also. Porter Jr probably out for the season.

Chicago got the same streak we had. 4 games in a row were the opponents plays without there best players & even we were able to win 2 of those games. Nice for Vuc.

We should end up being top 3 worst team. Not sure we can outtank Houston and Minessota but we shouldn't win many games from now.

With the Bulls win over the Raptors, their draft pick is:
The Bulls sit as the 11th worst team.

Also as the 10-seed in the East, if the Bulls were to win two play-in games, the Magic would get the 15th pick in the draft. If they were not two win those two games, the pick would be conveyed at a 90.59% chance (that is, there is a 9.41% chance the pick would not convey).

Right now, the Bulls would first play the Pacers then the loser of the Knicks and the Celts. If we assume the Bulls has a 45% chance to win either game, then winning both is at a 20.25% chance.

Taken together, I thus estimate that the Bulls pick would convey at a 20.25% + 72.25% = 92.50% . And that would either be at the #15-selection or the #11-selection, with respective odds shown. (( the 11th pick would slide if a team worse than Chicago goes top-4 in the lottery )).

(( 72.25% is the probability the Bulls pick is not the 15th pick - but does convey as the 11th selection. This is 90.59% * 79.75%. The 79.75% is the probability of Chicago missing the playoffs; i.e. not winning two play-in games.

Big win for Cavs & Pistons. Thunder tank is respectable.

Thursday 4/8:
Bulls 122 - 113 Raptors
Cavaliers 129 - 102 Thunder
Pistons 113 - 101 Kings

Friday 4/9:
7:00p Indiana Pacers @ Orlando Magic
7:30p Minnesota Timberwolves @ Boston Celtics
8:00p Chicago Bulls @ Atlanta Hawks
10:00p Washington Wizards @ Golden State Warriors
10:00p Houston Rockets @ LA Clippers

The Thunder are tanking hard, but a three game difference is hard to make up when there’s only 21 games left.

Gotta assume OKC is going to win at least 1-2 more games down the stretch in between some deep losing streaks. It’s just really difficult to lose 20 in a row. One team this year did it once, but that just doesn’t happen a lot.

So if OKC wins 2, then Orlando would have to win 6 of 21 to finish with a better than them. I just don’t think this team has six more wins in it *if* Clifford is actually committing to play youth down the stretch.

OKC have too much talent to outtank us given that they have 3 more wins now, even with their blatant tanking tactics. Every time SGA plays they have a decent shot of winning, he's that good.

Our tank is looking good right now.

I normally don’t mind tanking but it feels like OKC is going a little overboard lately. I think the Horford thing just annoyed me. Hopefully they get SGA back and he wins them a few more.

Speaking of teams that we are up against with tanking, I haven’t gotten to watch the Cavs much this season. I looked at Sextons numbers for this year and it seems that at least in terms of surface level numbers that he has far exceeded my expectations of him.

Anyone watch Cavs games and have any thoughts on Sexton?

The Pistons, Raptors, Rockets, and Timberwolves are still left on the schedule and the outcome of those games will decide our fate. The Raps (5th), Rockets (1st), Minny (7th), && OKC (10th) all have a top 10 hardest schedule remaining. We currently have the 20th, with some winnable games left outside of those.

It will all come down to the wire.

This is a massive IF, but if Clifford is actually going to run Anthony/Hampton/Vet Wing/Okeke/One of the Young Centers as a closing lineup, the Magic aren't going to win very many games no matter who they play.

Agreed, but in general, I think Anthony/Harris/Ennis/Okeke/WCJ will be the closing lineup. Perhaps even MCW over Anthony. We're going to see though. I chalked last game up to it pretty much being out of reach when he went to that final lineup.

The exact lineup you stated with Ross as the vet wing and Bamba as the center had a -45 net rating in 7 minutes the other night. If Cliff is going to stick with it we will have a good shot of losing the remainder of our games.

Will he though? Fingers crossed, but it's TBD.
