if that dunk caused dipo's knee to give out, then it seems like it was going to happen at some point anyhow smh

not your fault op, good win op

thats rough, dipo had a good game, was impressed with what he showed against the lakers. He was explosive, shot well, had a well rounded game. Hopefully good news coming from this but until than i hope Nunn is ready to go.

Hopefully it's only a bone bruise for Oladipo. Embiid reacted the same way when he had one a couple weeks ago, and he's already back. It happens when you coming back from an injury.

Agreed but this team has proven it can get by with Nunn.

It's not about getting by, it's the fact it looked like Heat may had found a third star. Now he may be seriously hurt.

Agreed. It sucks

This franchise does not have a good history with Mcbone bruises.

Yes that's how bone bruises happen, with no contact. Okeke with the Magic had one earlier this year, no contact, acted the same way as Dipo. I believe Embiid just had a no contact bone bruise also.

It happens, especially if it was the knee that was injured before. Bone bruises happen as you start using it more. Okeke's was behind the knee, in the same place he had his acl injury.

It definitely could be a bone bruise and who knows.

the fact of the matter is that he hurt his knee from a simple taking off both legs with no one around is very discouraging.

poor guy did something he didn't need to. partly because he has so many doubters, and he feels like he has to prove himself. it's just unfortunate all around

It feels like 70-80% of NBA injuries are freak injuries. basketball in general more or less.

you got good one in Okeke btw. cool name too.

Looks like his x-ray was negative, so probably a bone bruise, but will miss a couple weeks.

X-ray are not for soft tissues. Have to wait for MRI. And sometimes that is not conclusive

Yeah, I mean it’s positive he didn’t break his knee cap or something...but I’m holding out for MRI. That’ll tell us if it’s ligament/tendon related which could be a real bitch.

imagine losing one of our best new players, while he's having his best game & potentially on his way to 30pts...
...& now we're living in uncertainty....

Regardless how bad it was, he injured his knee. This wasn't imaginary
