My selfish, homer self would love to have UK legend Darius Miller play the small ball Mike Scott role. In his limited time he's been actually playing phenomenally for the Thunder. Have a feeling he won't be the guy though.

Isn't he hurt?

I think he has a minor groin injury. Don't think it's anything too lasting. Could be wrong though.

Honestly I’m surprised his percentage is that high.

Make sense.
We have too few minutes of playing time to attract people.

You thought that because of Mfiondue?

No, generally speaking.

We're not the favorite for winning it all and we have not enough minutes for people who are looking for their next contract.

Stuck in the middle of the buyout market :D

Damn, Chris Boucher has a 39% 3FG on the season and is 60% on 2pts. I guess he must be nailing his hesi stepback jumpers.

And some people here wanted us to trade for Bledsoe.

He would be an awful fit next to Embiid and specially Simmons.

You can call me out since I was one of the few to call for him to be traded for a cheap piece. Obviously we’re discussing his play in his worst season in the past five+ years after being traded to an underachieving team during a COVID season.

All of that aside, the value of Eric Bledsoe on this team is not his C&S ability, but rather being one of two (now three with Hill) viable playoff guards who can create their own offense. So the premise of your post doesn’t really make sense. C&S is not his game and that’s what he has been relegated to with Ball, Zion, Ingram all having more on ball responsibility this year.

Management seems to have more confidence in this squad than I do

If Darius Miller can play the PJ Tucker role I’d sign him

Don’t get it

We have an open roster spot and sign nobody

Wtf?

Can only assume that management expects a flame out and will trade Simmons

Just don’t do it for Beal

From what I read, they can still sign someone and have them play in the playoffs, they just had to be waived by yesterday.

That being said this isn't free agency, there weren't exactly many great options, especially ones that wanted to play as a backup F or third string C.

Also, there's a month left. They're not going to flame out nor can they trade as the deadline passed.

Hope would be to sign a backup F/C with that spot (although the options haven't been great). Not expecting much.

Pretty much all of their players are on good contracts at this point, so they have a lot of flexibility for whatever comes available. They tried to make a couple big moves this past season, so I expect they will try again next year.

I guess he can still be better than Mike Scott.
